The guy was very rude right off the bat threatened to kick us out before we even checked in started grilling me about pets and then only offered the more expensive spot said it's only 5 bucks more you can pay it. Will never go back not to mention you have to pay for a shower.

Very nice, quiet campground (my preference). Mostly seasonal sites, but some for short term. Owner/Mgr very helpful with short notice arrival. Restrooms average, showers were warm, coin operated, but mats could use a cleaning.

My family and I checked in late 8pm the owner was aware of the 2 small dogs and 3 children, he immediately starting getting controlling by saying we could only park 1 car at site other in guest service. He even followed me to the site to make sure he approved the way I backed my camper in. The following day we where asked to leave after the children asked to go swimming in the pool that is on-site for swimming, the owner said no not for 2hrs for.chemical reasons, he never even added chemicals to the pool, we again asked 3 hrs later that is when he voiced an issue, they don't want children or dogs there or woman prefer just say men said we couldn't have a small fire in fire pit, and he would feel better if we just left. I was in shock, the dogs and children were quiet we were not disturbing others but regardless we packed up and left only to find an amazing and better campground.

First of all campground is nice clean quiet, but the owner is a little persnickety about his pool that he said we had to ask permission to use and he would unlock it other than that just not friendly at all

Someone i know stayed here and all the owner cared about was money. As soon as someone came in he instantly wanted money for visitors. Nothing for kids to do. Had a pool there but couldnt get the chemicals right to be able use it.

I've never left a 5 star review before this time but Lazy Lions Campground is the most beautiful campground we ever stayed in 30 years of camping! The owner Steve was very friendly at check-in and guided us to our site. He stopped by to visit every day. Steve has a wealth of information and good humor. He was always busy sprucing up the sites or plants. If you are traveling with another rig all Steve for sites 9&10 as these are side by sides (your entry doors and awnings face each other) This is a quiet place to stay and relax!

Small, intimate campground nestled in the mountains. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the sites are clean and plenty of room. Dog friendly. Close to many points of interest.

I wasn't sure about this campground when we arrived, but I have come to love it. They have created a peaceful wooded campground. The sites are at all different angles to fit within the trees. There is plenty of room around the sites. Sites for bigger rigs are gravel. They have placed flowers beautifully around the park and at each site. They bring your internet deliveries to your site because they want to. Steve, one of the owners, is very, very freindly. It is mostly designed for adults. There is no playground. They also have cute cabins. They own quite a bit of land, so you can walk around in the woods. Very low key. I have seldom given a campground 5 stars, but it is well earned.

The host Steve went above and beyond to show us personally to our campsite and was just the nicest person we have met! We stayed in one of the screened in lean to, and had such a pleasant stay. The bathrooms were clean and the place was so very calm and quiet. Hardly any traffic noise and the location was in such a nice part of the mountains! Getting away from the city lights and hearing only nature at night was serene.

Stayed here late summer last year and had a wonderful time-goal was to stay here a while then head towards Maine. This area was so wonderful and the camp host so welcoming that we extended our stay and never bothered going east. Would stay here again if we have the chance.
