OVERALL: If no power required: Stay at the state historic site 2 mins away for a fraction of the price. After staying here a few times, now living in the area, and interacting with people in this area, this is my honest review: Pros: -coffee shop nearby with great food/coffee -power (only at RV sites) -right on the main road in Ranchester -showers -Garrett, the camp property manager(?), is an amazing resource and has helped us out of a bind several times Cons: -high cost for what you get ($30+/night at a tent site with pets) -very small lot to camp at -they charge pet fees? (Abnormal for a campground) -no flexibility if you need power at a tent site (owner won’t let you use the electric, even if you offer to pay a fee and even if there are ~10 open spots available) -not a lot of interaction with owners for local info (limited interactions come off more corporate than laid back—it’s clear this is a business lol) -main road border at tent sites can be noisy and dangerous for pets/kids In sum: The Connor battlefield state historic site nearby is $11.30/day (for WY residents) and $20.34/day (non-WY-resident). It’s spacious with bathrooms, though no showers or power. We preferred staying at the state campground because we have pets and don’t love being on top of other campers/campsites (and we’re not made of money). Ranchester is growing and some businesses in town appear to be a bit “money hungry” as a result, which is disappointing and not what you’d expect in a friendly(?) small town.

We stayed one night (tent camping) in mid July (Saturday to Sunday). Very peaceful, clean, convenient for food in the evening and breakfast and coffee in the morning at the on-site bakery and coffee shop. Restrooms and showers available and clean. Will stay here again.

This campsite was clean, so were the bathrooms. Nothing fancy. We only stayed one night on our way to MT. Our site (#12) was very nice and shady. The bathrooms were right behind us, but the rv park is small, so they're really not far from any site. It is 4 minutes walking distance from Buckshot (restaurant), a dollarstore, and a gas station. (There was only one restaurant open in town on a Monday)

We camped in our camper for 4 nights. Easy set up with all hookups. Walking distance to restaurants. Close to kayaking, fishing etc in the beautiful Big Horn Mountains. Highly recommend!

I don't know who wrote those other reviews but there are no amenities I didn't see bathrooms showers it was a small unkempt lot with hookups. Everything was done online there was no communication or should I say very little. For a quick overnighter it will do there are full hookups. And there's a great little bakery coffee shop within walking distance
