Lazy River Family Campground

This place is horrible. The maintenance guy was drinking on the job. People were blaring loud music until 4 am even though there’s a noise ordinance. Children were swearing and screaming at 1 am. The whole bathroom is one big safety issue. There’s no locks on the stalls and the doors don’t close. Grown men were using the women’s bathroom which is frightening whether they’re drunk or not. There was dirty feminine products on the floor and hanging out of the basket uncovered. The workers scream at you if you go 4mph in a 5mph zone because you’re going “too fast”. This is not family friendly. This is a partying campground and nothing near relaxing.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a campground. Living in the ghetto and still would prefer that over this disgusting excuse of a place. Maintenance dude is a drunk and nobody enforces the noise ordinance so didn’t go to bed until 4am and left before the stay was up because there was no way in hell I would do it another night in a row. Would not recommend this place.

It's a no frills easy going kind of place. I've been here a handful of times and the management is always great, and hands off. No fire Nazis coming around at night telling you to put the fire out, or to quiet down. They have a playground and a pool, and also offer activities. Go here and check it out.

Run down not impressive at all. Wasn’t kept up. Lots of ticks. Kids running around unattended. We visited friends staying a weekend and that was more than enough of a visit for them as well. And river is more like a Brook.
