Was tired on 10/8/25 and needed a break in driving. Tent site was outrageously priced at $75!!!!! Website shows $65. I paid only $33 in Salina, KS KOA. I left and did NOT STAY. Sites were clean and very nice, well lit, hated to leave, but I could get a motel room for $110!

5 Stars! From check-in to check-out, our family had an amazing stay. The staff was friendly, responsive, and genuinely eager to accommodate. My brother’s family joined us last-minute in a cabin next door, and we spent the weekend swimming, biking, playing games, and roasting s’mores by the fire while relaxing in rocking chairs. We celebrated my nephew’s birthday in the clubhouse during a Father’s Day cookout hosted by the staff—hot dogs and fresh watermelon made it extra special. Everything was clean, peaceful, and exactly as advertised, which made planning a breeze. We stayed in a pet-friendly cabin with our schnauzers and loved the large dog run just steps away—clean, stocked with bags, and plenty of fresh water. Even when we needed help with a wasp at the pool, staff responded right away despite no on-site maintenance at the time of our request. Safe, relaxing, and full of heart—KOA Leander / NW Austin made for the perfect family weekend. We’ll definitely be back! THANK YOU!!

This KOA has their stuff together. We were supposed to be in Weathersford and when we got there and saw their forecast we knew we needed to rethink our decision. We might have gone a little further than we needed, but we made our reservation on the app at 5 pm on a Sunday night. At 8:30 pm we rolled in there and there was a welcome packet out for us and everything. When we got to our assigned site, someone was in it. We called the after hours number and someone actually answered the phone! It turned out someone using night check-in had already selected that one, no problem, they gave us another site assignment. The sites are very nice, level, and paved. They even provide blocks for those who need them. I had a chance to walk around this morning and the pool and hot tub looked nice. I can't say much about the amenities because we didn't have time. All in all, one of the nicest KOAs we have stayed at, and the staff are top notch! Thank you for helping out a family of storm refugees! We saw some video from the city we were supposed to be in, and thank God we weren't there.

It is hard to say exactly what's more wrong that the last. From the checking in, where the woman sounded belittling to the person behind the front desk to the pictures showing that the pool and hot tub actually worked. The pictures on the website are clearly not updated when looking at them in person. The tv in the pavillion doesn't work, the pool table looks as if it is off balance by more than a person could correct themselves playing. This KOA is near the toll road which has just become a huge thourough fare and is so loud that the sounds of cars can be heard right up to and into the RV. The activities on the website do not happen, we attempted to go see if there was something happening a few times and was met with "oh, ok, let me..." There are so many other places around the leander area now that if you take the time to look you will find fun and really nice family atmospheres. We went ahead and left. Too bad the KOA family has this one in the mix. Boooooo KOA

Friendly, helpful staff. The largest, nicest dog play area we’ve ever encountered at a campground (KOA or otherwise). Propane service conveniently located on site. Clean, well maintained facilities. We will absolutely be back!!

Easy access from TX 183. Long pull through made parking easy. Nice pool and hot tub. Very clean restrooms and campsites.

I recommend this place 100% Sometimes some sacrifices pay off. Quiet place, safe, relax, clean and friendly. This count. I love this place and I'm so happy my husband doing a good choice.

Stayed here for the weekend and everything is very well-maintained and clean and the staff is super helpful with any needs you have. Hot water is super hot and nice clean laundry room to catch up the laundry! Would stay here anytime in the area and particularly love the dog park for my dogs… It’s large and again very well-maintained!

What a great campground! Great sites for big rigs, nice bathrooms with private toilet and shower combo. Dog park is nice but wish there were a couple ramps for our to go up and down on. Nice pool/hot tub area which was close which was a bummer. Overall very clean campground and nice staff!

Where do I even begin?? My husband and I have stayed at multiple RV Parks over the last two years. As someone who has worked in a customer-first position for many years, I’m a bit of a stickler when it comes to customer service. Not only did Mike blow our minds with his impeccable customer service, but after a couple of conversations, he seriously felt like family! What a great guy! He was very good to us! Thomas, who lives here and is the maintenance/grounds/fix everything guy, is also exceptional. Above and beyond with this guy in everything he does. Not a lot of folks like him or Mike in this world. Honestly, I have never felt more safe or more comfortable or more at home in an RV park as I have in this one. Every time we come down to Austin I will always check with this park first for availability. It’s special here.
