Here’s the good.. It’s super convenient to east glacier. It’s inexpensive. It’s very small but decent layout. Bathrooms were recently redone. They have a sauna. The camp dogs were very quiet and sweet hearts and keep the wildlife at bay. The bad: Communication with owner isn’t great. They are still updating some sites so there is some equipment around and one unfinished dusty site. The worst part of the campground is the water situation. Water ran out first night there, by second day showers didn’t work and worse the toilets didn’t flush… it was a bit of a hellscape in the stalls. They won’t refund you for having no water. We had a third night booked but left because we hiked all day and just wanted a shower. Overall, not the worst. If they can figure out the water it would be great. I know water is always a challenge in this area so i cut them some slack for that

Great campground close to Glacier NP with clean updated toilets and showers with hot water. All the dogs on the property were super well behaved, friendly, and well loved. They are not strays and belong to the campsite owner and her family. There was just one night where the water wasn’t working but we were there for 4 days and didn’t miss a single shower because the water was working fine the next morning. Everyone was lovely and the cafe on the campground served great comfort food after a day of hiking. We would absolutely stay again! 10/10

This campground is amazing with clean bathroom, showers, sauna, and laundry room. There's a little restaurant you could order food if you're hungry. We stopped to stay overnight in the car, and the lady in the office let us stay in front of her office. This is the campground with everything you need!!!

This campsite was exactly what I needed—quiet, clean, and equipped with well-maintained bathrooms and showers. I stayed for about five nights and just needed a peaceful place to rest my head, and this spot was perfect for that. While the camping area is fairly open, it still offered a surprising amount of privacy, and I actually appreciated the shared space—it added to the friendly atmosphere. The dogs on the property were such a treat: super friendly, adorable, and an unexpected serotonin boost each day! Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back.

I stayed in a tent from 9/5/24 to 9/7/24. It is a great base camp for accessing the East side og GNP. I have read a lot of reviews from people criticizing the "packs of dogs" "cold showers" and road noise. I am writing this review to let people know that yes there are what are known as "Rez Dogs". They run free and are not mean. If you have spent any time on or around a Reservation you will be familiar with them. It is almost a fixture at every Rez I have ever been to and honestly I enjoyed their morning visits looking to share some scrambled egg. I also appreciate the barking because they let me know when bears were nearby (which there was one that the camp host kept a close eye on and communicated personally with the campers about the situation) If you have dogs and don't want the Rez Dogs visiting, just shoo them away and keep you pet's food put away (which should be done anyway because of bears) Next, the hot water for both mens and women' showers is run off of one very large water heater. If you wait until after everyone in the campground has showered you will get a cool shower. This seems like common sense to me. If you want a hot shower, get your butt in there before other campers. Road noise was annoying but I will say that it dies down overnight while you sleep. I am a very light sleeper and I wasn't woke up once by road noise. But I stayed at Avalanche and Apgar campgrounds later and they were no quieter and I had to put up with a group of campers' axe throwing game all flippin night completely ruining the peace. I will say that the owners have made a very nice effort planning their facility. For the price, I was pleased to find such a lovely bathroom and shower facility. A laundry center, dish washing station and even a pay per use sauna! When I finished the Avalanche Overlook hike from Many Glacier Hotel (11.3 miles and over 2000' elevation gain) I was so relieved to take a hot shower and have a giant scoop of mint chip ice cream from the general store! I was in heaven! Marcus is an awesome and accommodating host. Prices in the store are so reasonable and they stock all the essentials that you may have forgotten at home - including bear spray! I will be back. I enjoyed this more than my GNP campgrounds. Better amenities and the same low price. People need to really be more realistic with expectations and appreciate the thoughtfulness that went into this campground. Thank you Marcus for being a great host!
