Fyi, cash only. Lovely host, very clean facility, some shade, and well kept sites. However, we were disappointed the pool was really too cold to swim and the hot tub was luke warm, at best. If we knew, we would not have driven 20 miles out of our way. Need to tell people at time of booking that the pool is not heated. It would be greatly aporeciated...thanks. Also, the noise from ATVs all around, up and down the road next to the park, and we didn't sleep much. Not very quiet, especially the music/Atvs, till late...11 pm. Then there was the numerous gun shots nearby. We had our tv on and we could hear them, pretty close by. We left a day early to stay at the rv resort near Borrego Springs...it's gated. Phew...

This place was a really pleasant surprise. My first time RV-ing and to an actual desert Oasis. The pool was nice, great showers and clean toilets. There was great shade from the trees between all the spaces that had ample room for big rigs. I'll definitely be staying again.

Leapin' Lizard RV Ranch far exceeded our expectations! The sites were nicely divided with TREES (in the Desert!) between them, they were level and hookups all worked perfectly. The owners/operators of the park could not have been nicer or more helpful, giving us information about the area as well as their park. And the bathrooms and laundry room were spotlessly clean. We didn't get in the pool or spa, but both looked very clean and inviting, with chairs and umbrellas available for guests to use. There are lots of ATVs around, but the park stays quiet. The owners really care about this place and it shows! It's about a 20 minute ride to Borrego Springs and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, both of which we really enjoyed, and an hour ride to Julian, which has fantastic pie! This place was really a gem - comfortable, quiet, great value - we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

RV park is great so clean and beautiful. All the sites are immaculate nice shade trees everywhere. The pool and hot tub are very nice.. We had a great time. Close to the off road adventure are great place to chill or ride.

This just be my favorite campground of all the places I’ve stayed in the Western US. It started with the reservation phone call Deborah was so friendly on the phone. Then upon arrival, a quick radio call from the office and a was there to greet us by name. She made sure we got in our spot (which was very spacious and nice) just fine and had all the information we needed, including tips on sites. We really appreciated all the tourist info in the office too. Wait, here comes the best part. The bathrooms are spotless! The pool and hot tub are beautifully maintained! Sunsets and sunrise are gorgeous here! We’ll be back!
