We went in August 2024 for our last time. It was our third visit and will probably be our last. We stayed in the tenting section. They had just disconnected the electric and the wires were just hanging everywhere. There was no privacy between sites and everyone was very heavy on weed use which just drifted into our site. We literally couldn't hang out at our campsite without our eyes watering. We came back only at bedtime and had to immediately zip up our tent. There are kids and teenagers zooming around in golf carts everywhere and they are all going 60 mph. Not a safe place for kids to bike around. There is music blasting from almost every campsite so you're listening to rap, country and pop music simultaneously 24/7. Not a place to unwind and read a book. The pools and ropes course are nice and the waterslide is fun but you can't even read at the pool because of the constant music blaring. We did the waterslides and ropes course and left after two days of our eyes stinging and no sleep and checked into a NH State Park campground to get peace and quiet.

Had to send this email to HR: I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the way my recent stay at Lebanon KOA Holiday on Salmon Falls River was handled. I have been a loyal guest who has spent a significant amount of time and money at your campground, and I had intended to continue visiting in the future. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has left me feeling frustrated and questioning whether I will return at all—even next season. I was initially charged a $250 smoking fee despite the fact that I do not smoke. Although this charge was later refunded after I contacted the office, it was upsetting to have been accused of something I did not do, and on top of it even charged such a large fee for an accusation. I also understand that I mistakenly took two pillows home with me and left pancake mix on the stove. I took full responsibility for these oversights and promptly paid the replacement and cleaning fees. However, I am having a hard time understanding what I paid a cleaning fee for, considering I booked a cabin which should always be cleaning afterwards anyway. What has been most discouraging is being told, on the very day I was supposed to arrive for my next planned stay, that I could not return for the rest of the season. This last-minute cancellation disrupted my plans and left me without the opportunity to enjoy a place I had grown to truly appreciate. This experience has shaken my trust in KOA. While I had looked forward to many more visits, I am now seriously reconsidering whether I will return—even next season—because of how unfairly this was handled. I hope you will take my concerns seriously and consider the impact this has had on my experience as a loyal customer. I would very much like to continue visiting KOA in the future, but my decision will depend on how this situation is addressed. I have attached a video/audio recording of a brief portion of my conversation with Rich, the assistant manager at the campground.

Lots of amenities! The staff was VERY friendly, especially Kathy. The first night our neighbors were loud till 1:30am, we mentioned it to the staff the next day and they addressed it, never had that issue again. Hot tub had decent amount of sand in it on the floor but was still enjoyable. Waterslide was a lot of fun for all ages. The carnival for Labor Day weekend was super fun for the kids, I appreciate all the work they put into it. We got a full hook up site, and the site was huge!!! There are a lot of golf carts whizzing by so be mindful of that, otherwise we absolutely plan on going back next year. My one wish is that the amenities had longer hours. The bounce pad/ pools/ high ropes were limited hours I felt could have been open longer.

What a great trip we had this past week. Cabin was fantastic. All linens and towels were there. Cabin was clean. Air conditioning was on when we arrived. Golf cart rental fantastic water was a little low in the river, but still had fun. Would definitely recommend for a week long trip or longer.

I can’t express how impressed I am with this location. My wife and I have seven children all together. We stayed here the first time in tents, then immediately upgraded to an RV, experiencing this location on both ends of the spectrum. The amenities keep my kids entertained all day long. There are multiple families regularly with dogs and children, allowing my kids to make friends. The atmosphere is friendly, family oriented, and fun for all of us. The staff are regularly available and drive through the sites cleaning and maintaining regularly. Friendly and knowledgeable would be an understatement. Our most recent stay there was an issue. The management handled it with care and quickly. I can’t express how impressed I am with this location. We are thinking seasonal and I’m pretty sure this last stay is going to seal the deal.

The place is great would have given it five stars if it were not for the bed inside the RV. We rented the RV. The RV is so cool . But the bed was rock hard and thin. I've slept better in prison. It was literally one of the most torturing things if not the most torture I've ever been through in my life. I could have slept a better outside on the grass on a pile of rocks. Shame on them for not upgrading the bed inside the RV. They are literally out of their minds. Other than that we love the campground

We tented a trailer from them at one of their site. Trailer was very clean and well maintained. Bathroom was very small but that’s expected from this small trailer. The kitchen was good with almost everything you need for the stay. The full bed was spacious for two. They also have two bunker beds good enough for 2 kids. The platform outside was very good, the awning was very useful when it rained during our stay.

Very crowded at the time I was there for. For me I believe it is a great place to socialize and have fun.

This is an edit of my former 4 🌟 review. This place is struggling to come up to speed. They tore down the old barn and check in area. Now when you pull into the campground, quite frankly, you don't know where to go. No obvious signage indicating where to park your rig, no signage to locate registration/ check in. Once we figured this out we found an attentive lady to check us in, very attentive and helpful. They assigned us a campsite; but, informed me that the site was not located on the map they then tried to show me where it should be found? Really I have to hunt for my campsite?! Most KOA's take you to your site. Once we found the site I noticed an embankment, where my R/R corner would be, it was high enough that I would have damaged the motor home. They did find us another site, this site was not a full hook up ( which I paid for), cable did not work, Wi-Fi did not work. They did offer to pump me out once for free, we were here for four days. The low hanging, large branches of the pines, scraped my roof and roof a/c damaging one of the covers. Golf carts driving very fast, campers walking through campsites, campsites littered with trash. We paid a resort fee for amenities we were not able to use. You have to sign up the day before for pool time ( which you can't do if you haven't checked in), putt putt golf course is a nice touch ( how about having someone clean it off with leaf blower once a day), ropes course was fun. I really want this place to be good; but, long distance control does not seem to be baring fruit. KOA really need to be proactive with this ownership group and hold them accountable. I don't know how many more chances we can give KOA SALMON FALLS.
