Right on the lake, very nice view and even with a small casino was still surprisingly quiet and calm. The rooms were larger then expected, only down part if you looks the furniture would have damage. Huge closet space and very nice bathrooms. It shows and says they have a restaurant, but when we were there it was not accessible other than the snack bar with the same food.

Absolutely horrible! When you work for a company who pays for your rooms for overnight trips and feel guilty that it cost so much. $200 a night in mid fall. Really. As you can see in the picture shower head had no holder. Turn the light switch off and everything in the room doesn't work til you figure out what plug to actually use. If you drive a semi or large vehicle get ready you have to park across the street even though the parking lot is not even 20% full. 1000% will never stay hear again or tell anyone that its a decent place to stay. I do overnights at least once a week as a semi driver and I have had better stays, rooms and so on from the $99 type of hotels then this one. Avoid, avoid, AVOID. the only thing they have going for them is location being so far north.

We had such a nice stay at Legendary Waters. Check in was easy, and our room was clean and very comfortable. The view of the lake was just beautiful, I could have sat and looked out at it all day, it was so peaceful. Skyler at the front desk was very kind and helpful. She let us know the pool and dining area were closed but it should be open tomorrow (today) We’re in our 70s, so the pool didn’t really matter to us, but she made sure to tell us about a place in town that delivered right to our room, which was thoughtful. She also noticed my husband having trouble walking and asked if we needed help with our luggage. Everyone we met was polite and friendly, which made us feel welcome and I would gladly recommend Legendary Waters to others.

I stayed here for two nights, (Thursday and Friday night) and it was not great, but it wasn't terrible. There wasn't much service, take that how you'd like. The pros: It's close to Bayfield, it's right on the lake, I could see potential hunting opportunities around the area, and there are a lot of places to hike and adventure within driving distance. There also seems to be a lot of history in the area, but that doesn't necessarily come from the resort itself. The cons: To start, right when I got into my room the light didn't work (not a deal breaker). When I decided it was time for supper I was excited to visit the restaurant, but that was closed because they didn't have staff. They said they'd be open in the morning for breakfast, they weren't. Still not a broken experience, but when I went to the hot tub to relax away the miles I'd put on in the area, the water was warm and the jets didn't work. Im not trying to be critical, but for 200 dollars a night on week nights I really expect to have good experiences with the amenities that they say are provided. All in all, I felt like the experience I had would have been expected for half the price. Would I recommend? Maybe. There may be circumstances where being here is the best option, but if your vacationing I'd look for another place.

I’m not a gambler but the Legendary Waters Resort & Casino fit my itinerary well on a recent bike trip and I really enjoyed it. It’s clean and they’re friendly and accommodating. It’s also more quiet than I expected. The coffee truck outside has delicious breakfast sandwiches and coffee and the sunrise was spectacular!

Last fall I booked a room at their off season, supposedly at reduced price. When I called to book the room I called the casino phone number not knowing they were transferring my call to hotels.com. When I saw the charge on my account, it was $50.00 more than it should have been. When we arrived to check in we told the hotel desk clerk about this and she really didn't know anything about how this happened or how to fix it. We were told to tell the head desk clerk the next day which we did and were told that they did owe us the $50. Never saw that. I called the casino hotel a couple weeks later and they told me they don't have access to hotels.com, I'd have to call them. Hotels.com wouldn't do anything about it either. We didn't know the restaurant was closed either or nowhere to eat. That was a disappointment too. Had to drive to the next town to find something that was open. We've stayed here before and always had a good experience, never again!

Went to one of their events- the tattoo expo on March 19,2022. Before even going there I looked at their advertisements because I wanted to bring my husband and kids. No where did they mention 18 and older only. I even called the casino and spoke to a front desk person, again asking about bringing the kids. Was told it should be fine. Cool. We make time to go and hopefully can get the hubby his tattoo he has been wanting. We get there and walk-in at the door closest to the entry. We make it 1/3 of the room and we’re heading toward a booth when a security guard rushes toward us and says no kids. I ask “why?”, he stutters “only 18 and older” and points to a sign on a stand. Near a separate pair of doors that you would need to be right in front of to be able to see. I ask again “why?”. He kinda mumbled and said no kids again. We were heading out and he says “Don’t ask any questions.” Well, I am asking ALL the questions. Why was your staffed not trained to answer the Whys? Of not bringing kids in? Why did the security guard deem it appropriate to state “Don’t ask any questions.” As we were heading out….. Why did your front desk person not know that kids were not allowed? Why did your advertising not state this was a 18+ event anywhere? Why make an event NOT kid friendly since they can be brought into an event by a responsible adult? So many questions to be had….

Our family loved our room and the rates were very reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We were unable to take advantage of the pool, restaurant or gaming areas at all because of prior commitments, but we hope to return soon and spend our time just relaxing at LW instead of running elsewhere all weekend. Thanks to everyone there for our great experience! ❤❤❤

I mean, it's way up here. I think it's cozy, clean, and I think anyone who enjoys this type of venue will have fun and a bwautiful stay.

Some people are just not nice and they like to pick on random people but the place is nice beautiful location right on lake Superior
