The only reason we took away 1 star is due to the sites are tight and we had to reposition our rv to get it level which left us no room to park our car. Otherwise it was well maintained, nice pond with lots of ducks, stream ran behind our rv. Everyone was very nice that worked there. Fire ring and picnic table at all the sites

Campground is super clean, convenient location and staff is friendly. WiFi is bad and inconsistent. No camping store onsite so if you need anything last minute you have to make a drive to Walmart. Be careful when selecting sites as our back in site had all connections in the front of the site. We parked perfectly on our site but couldn’t reach the water or sewer hookups. I might stay here again but would look for other options first.

Great, well maintained rv park. Close to the hiking trails in the North GA mountains, Helen, the shops of downtown Dahlonega, and delicious restaurants/coffee shops in Sautee. The rv park is quiet and well shaded among the trees. All the amenities are included at a reasonable price - water, electric, sewer, clean and modern bath house, dog park, trails, and a pond. I highly recommend. Great AAA rates.

My daughter and son-in law lives there when the first time they moved there it’s been a great place and I love how they show God their new owners took over and it’s still a great place

If you’re traveling to the state and National Parks around Helen this is the place to park your RV/Travel Trailer for the week and weekend. Park is well maintained and the staff are both super friendly and very helpful. Park is very quiet and the pond is well stocked for catch and release fishing with kids. Many restaurants and a Super Walmart all within five minutes of the campground.

Decent campground and not over crowded. However it is near main road and have alot of traffic noise. Also a bit pricey for the area.

Very nice and well-maintained campground. There are a few shortcomings though. The main road going in and out of the park, which is gravel, is very hard to negotiate with a big rig, they either drag or just tires. The biggest drawback is it located right on a very busy highway, it’s busy day at night with lots of big trucks and heavy equipment, motorcycles, muscle cars, just a very noisy place. There’s not a tree in sight in The main part of the campground so I’m sure it’s very hot in the summertime. It was our first time there and I’m sure it will be the last time. That busy road and the traffic was enough to keep me from ever coming back. Mike Thompson Hiawassee’s Georgia

I stayed here for a little over four years in both the short term and long term side. Over all was a great place to stay. Very nice views and plenty of things to do in the area. Throughout the years the staff changed. There was both good and bad during my stay. Lots of rules which is both good and bad. They do keep the place clean and quite as well as have several activities throughout the year. Most of the other campers were really nice people that are willing to help you out if you needed something. They have all the services onsite (showers, laundry, propane) as well as walking trails around a stocked lake. I would recommend this place to people looking for camping in the area, just make sure you follow the rules and everything should be okay.

This is a great campground with plenty of spaces. It's in a centralized location with many activities around this area. There's other larger towns like Helen and gainesville. The staff is incredibly nice. Most importantly, the owners are very good patriotic Americans. They love their god, their country, military and first responders. 🇺🇸🇺🇸 They give a good discount for those individuals.

Very nice campground, it could use a little work on the sites and the hill coming into the lower part of the campground needs to be regraded. One thing that really gets me is when you check in they give you a paper with the rules and one of the first rules is speed limit is strictly enforced, well that's a joke because people came flying by our campsite like it was a super highway. If a kid or an adult was to walk out in the road there will probably be a lawsuit against the campground, just my opinion.

Very nice campground. The only complaint that I had was the speed limit was not strictly enforced like it said in the rules and regulations. Speed limit was 10mph but people flew in and out all the time. If there was a child darting in and out between campers the child or children would definitely be injured because people were flying in and out all the time. Most of the people who were speeding were from the permanent residents not so much the campers that were there. I feel like it needs to be strictly enforced. We stayed at our camper most of the time and we seen this problem the whole week we were there. I would love to come back and stay but the speed limit needs to be strictly enforced. Thank you!

One of the best campgrounds I have stayed at. Pros: Incredibly clean. They really do keep this place up nicely. Nice lake with woods in the back, which is great to take a walk and pick up some sticks/brush for the fire pit. Nice pool. Tucked away but relatively close to stores About 15 minute drive to Helen Nice staff Laundry room, vending machines…etc Very quiet and peaceful Internet was really good! Cons: Kids playground was swarmed by bugs so we couldn’t use it Excellent overall!
