We’ve been coming to San Marcos River Resort for years, and it truly feels like a home away from home. Every summer, my husband’s family gathers here for our reunion, and it never disappoints. The staff is always attentive and quick to help with any questions or concerns, making our stay stress-free and enjoyable. We’ve noticed the upgrades and love how the resort keeps improving while still keeping that welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere we cherish. We’ll definitely be returning soon—thank you for always making our family memories so special!

My wife and I booked a River view elite campsite this past weekend of 08/08/25. I must say the park was very nice, clean and organized. The rv pads were great, nice and level. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. A shout out to Daniel, the shuttle driver, who was very nice and informative to any questions we asked him. We would easily book here again. The river was relaxing and the float great!

It might just be my new favorite place. We spend 6 days at the RV resort and had a great time. We had a river view RV spot and loved it. It was a walking distance to the river, pool, dog park, store. The river access is very good, the place is very well kept, they have a very big pool and huge hot tub. They also have a little store (my kid forgot a toothbrush and it was less than $2) and sell pizza, ice cream etc. The dog park is very big as well. They pick your trash off the curb. The river itself was beautiful and pleasant temperature, we tubed and kayaked. There was a fun tree swing on the way down the river. Great place, we’ll definitely be back

We took our RV & stayed in the river view deluxe spot for 5 nights. It was a great spot, a short walk down to the San Marcos River. Our site was cemented, which was even better. Loved that there was already a picnic table at our site. The pool was very nice, as well as the campground. It was kept up very nice. Also, I loved that you put your trash to the road & they picked it up. The river was amazing also, we took our dog & she had a blast. The water was perfect & several different areas of depth too.

We had an amazing time at this camping resort! The grounds were clean, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. Our campsite was spacious and private, with great amenities like clean bathrooms, fire pits, and picnic tables. There were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, from hiking trails and fishing to family-friendly events at the lodge. The kids loved the pool and playground, and we really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere in the evenings. We can’t wait to come back—highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and refreshing outdoor escape!

What a great place! We RV camped with our 2 young children and had a great time. We encountered only the friendliest of folk, and there was such a good vibe. The staff are incredible, very accommodating and kind. I highly recommend Leisure Resort and we are already planning our next visit! We will be sure to bring the kid’s bikes next time, there were so many kids riding around and playing! 5 stars

Great RV park next to the river. Friendly staff and plenty of amenities. Our daughter had fun at the playground. We also enjoyed hiking down the river and exploring nature.

We really enjoy this place and have been coming for about 2 years now. Dennis got my complicated reservation squared away. We like all the mature trees trees in the original area. They have added a new section that’s nice and spacious but the trees are still babies. Waterfront is open and natural. I'm not thrilled with the new development across the river, but what can ya do. Staff is super helpful. I had a 130 pound dog, pizza, drinks and starving toddler in tow and had a stumble. Two staff members came to my rescue and drove us to our camper. I was so grateful. They have a large dog park, playground, and lots of camping spaces. What I appreciate most is how they have done the new development. By the design it seems like they’re working with nature not just bulldozing it over to fit more people. There’s a large tree area that they have kept natural and I really respect that they’re working with nature and not destroying it to "put butts in seats". Thank you Leisure for a wonderful time!

BEAUTIFUL campground! Lots of huge pecan trees with tons of shade and sites that will fit any type of RV. The river is just a few feet away with easy access. The campground manager was very helpful and cordial and they have a small store offering Hunt's Pizza and Blue Bell Ice cream - how could you go wrong? I know that I will be back and I would recommend this camp to anyone that wants a quiet, dog friendly beautiful RV park!! Thanks!
