Gorgeous, extremely large and beautifully maintained State Park. Be prepared to hike up and down lots of stairs. However, you can drive the entire length and get out at each of the three falls and multiple overlooks. However, you don't get close to the water or the gorge below, as you only have vistas from way up high above the riverbed below.

Absolutely beautiful park!! Stunning views from the trails. We took the seven mile hike to see all three waterfalls, but it's also possible to drive to the falls to see them if you're unable to hike. The trails are in excellent condition and are well marked. We camped in the 200 loop and really enjoyed it.

Absolutely an amazing place. You don't really understand how big it is until you visit it. Camped for 6 days and still didn't see everything. So many trails and sites to see. Whitewater rafting, kayaking, fishing and a monster sized pool. Oh and hot air balloon rides. So much staff to help out and keep the place gorgeous. Not much cell phone service good or bad pending how you look at it. Will definitely be looking to venture back again soon. I can only imagine what it would look like during peak fall foliage, breath taking in sure. And check out the charcoal corral if you have time. Not far away and a super cool place

Letchworth State Park is a huge and amazing place to visit, not far from Niagara Falls. It has lots of great trails to walk, with breathtaking views all around. The park has three beautiful waterfalls — Upper, Middle, and Lower Falls. All are stunning, but the Upper Falls has the best view! You’ll also see an incredible canyon, with forest-covered hills, cliffs, and mountains stretching out far. The rock formations shaped by erosion are really cool to see up close. It’s perfect for a day trip, or you can stay longer in one of the campgrounds or cabins. Whether you love hiking, relaxing in nature, or taking great photos, this park is a must-visit.

Great park with tons of hiking trails. We went in August, which wasn't the best time for the waterfall, but there were still plenty of beautiful sights to see. In order to get the most out of your experience, you should have a car to drive from trail head to trail head.
