The park is great and beautiful. Easy to get in and out of, several entrances, spaces are wide and tree covered, and there are common grassy areas everywhere, as well as a playground and multiple bath houses. The views across the lake are gorgeous, especially at sunset. They were repairing the road cracks, covering them with some kind of tar , but thankfully, they were going back and covering it with toilet paper. Still, it got all over the car and we had to spend quite some time cleaning it up before it dried. It has to be done though so it’s all good. Really, the only negative here was that everyone - including the park Rangers- drive way too fast. There are kids on bikes running and playing everywhere and no one was driving under 30+ mph. And not even the park rangers obeyed the stop and yield signs. If you are a parent, please be outside and watch your children! It’s too dangerous not to.
