Nice campground but the hosts DO NOT KEEP THE PIT TOILET CLEAN. Even after I called the Ranger Station. 1st time I ever seen such lazy hosts.. Fresh water sources running with no shut off just wasting 1000s of gallons of water.. SHAME

Noisy. Next to highway and train tracks. Statue in pic is of a white man that saw a path made by Native Americans and decided to take it for the railroad. How many died. I Don't agree about taking down statues to erase history but if they're going to do it that's one statue that ought to go.

The campground was very clean and well maintained and beautiful! The only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is that it's very near the highway, and right across the highway is a train track, so with highway noise and train noise it tends to be a little loud.

Clean, inexpensive national forest campground. We had site 15, which was pretty close to the highway Like other reviews mentioned, you can hear the freight trains struggling up the hill to the summit. They were just on the other side of the road and they seem to go by about every hour. It's pretty loud, especially in a tent, but it didn't bother us too much because we were really tired after a day at Glacier National Park There were a lot of mosquitos at our site. Be sure to bring repellent

The trains run all night long and are loud as they struggle to push cars up over the mountain. Other than that, it's not bad at all, but can get quite chilly at night, even in summer.
