My wife and I are looking forward to go back in the next season. We camped at this site seasonally for years consecutively from the 80s - late 90s.Norman one of the owners was wonderful and always smiling. Raising our 6 children and spending our summers there is still all of our families greatest and fondest memories. All my children have camping in their blood thanks to Libby's. Keep up the good work. And keep smiling. We just purchased a camper after 20+ years without, our first campground is going to be yours at Libby's.

The owners are kind. The facilities are clean. Fellow RV campers are quiet and respectful. It's nice to hear the waves as you fall asleep.

If you looking for campground with playground and stuff for kids this is not for you. We have kids but we needed campground where we can be centered to Salem MA and Maine attractions like the Desert of Maine. This is relaxing campground with absolutely beautiful views and we enjoyed the walk to the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful and they really take care about this place specially the grass!

Overall this was a wonderful place and I would absolutely return. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful and we had a great time. The location was great, overlooking the ocean and a very short walk down to the beach. My only issues: yes spots are very close but there is still room to enjoy your spot, set up the picnic table and put out some chairs. I think those campers that try to make their spot resemble their home by bringing everything under the sun with them, are complaining about the space - but it was fine for enjoying a relaxing space by the ocean. The spots have been newly renovated with new pedestals put in (which is great!!) but for my spot, the water spigot was attached so close to the pedestal that I couldn't even attach anything to it. It barely had room for just a thin adapter, and even that had to be tightened with a wrench. The other issue was that (as mentioned in other reviews) the spots aren't even close to level. There are a few oceanside ones in the lower numbers that looked much better. With the recent construction and the new layers of gravel, the gravel pads were pretty soft making it really hard to get level. However the plus here, is that the staff was amazing and were so helpful in working with me to get it level. Overall, it's a wonderful spot, and I'd absolutely return.

This is really nice campground. Pricey, but then you're right on the ocean. The oceanfront campsites are understandably extremely close together. And each has its own fire pit. And the wind invariably comes off of the ocean. Which means that when your neighbors build a fire (and they don't know how to build a fire), the smoke will invariably engulf your campsite, forcing you to go inside. Simple fix - Given the proximity of the ocean sites, eliminate the fire pits.
