Libby's Oceanside Camp
Overview
Libby's Oceanside Camp is a storied destination in York, Maine, offering one of the most direct coastal experiences for RV travelers in the New England region. Family-owned and operated for generations, this park provides a peaceful retreat where the sound of the Atlantic surf serves as a constant, soothing backdrop. It is widely known for its unobstructed ocean views and a long-standing commitment to maintaining a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that honors the rugged, natural beauty of the Maine coastline.
Location & Surroundings
Situated directly on the rocky shores of York Harbor, the park sits perfectly between the famous Long Sands and Short Sands beaches. The surrounding landscape is characterized by scenic granite outcroppings and fascinating tidal pools that define the classic Maine aesthetic. Visitors can enjoy the refreshing sea breeze and watch the dramatic tide changes right from the comfort of their site, making it a premier spot for those who value immediate waterfront proximity over inland seclusion.
Amenities & Park Features
While the park emphasizes its stunning natural surroundings, it provides all the essential modern comforts needed for a seamless coastal stay. Most sites are thoughtfully designed to accommodate larger RVs and offer full hookups including 30 and 50-amp electricity, water, and sewer services. The park features well-maintained gravel pads and clean facilities, though its standout feature is undoubtedly the exclusive beach access. High-speed Wi-Fi is available to help travelers stay connected while they soak in the panoramic vistas.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
The local York area is rich with coastal history and diverse recreation options for all ages. A very short trip leads to the iconic Nubble Lighthouse, which remains one of the most photographed beacons in the entire country. For those looking to explore the town, nearby York Harbor offers charming boutiques, fresh seafood dining, and the popular Wild Kingdom park. Nature lovers can hike the trails at Mount Agamenticus, while shoppers will enjoy a visit to the nearby Kittery Outlets for a day of retail therapy.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is ideal for travelers who prioritize a quiet, view-centric experience over extensive on-site amenities like pools or clubhouses. It is a perfect match for ocean-loving couples and retirees looking for a serene, high-end home base while exploring the Southern Maine coast. Because of its big-rig friendly sites, it is also a top choice for luxury motorhome owners who want premium waterfront real estate without sacrificing the convenience of full utility connections and easy maneuverability.

We really enjoyed our week, Sept. 14-20, at this campground. The staff was helpful and courteous, the park and facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the location was exactly what we asked for: close to the sound of the waves rolling in. Our neighbors were kind and quiet, and the weather was superb! We highly recommend ordering the lobster dinner from Maine Lobster Outlet. This complete dinner (details at the Libby's office) will be delivered to your RV or motorhome, packed neatly in a 5 gal. bucket. ready to eat. It is very well done, tasty, and reasonably priced. Enjoy the dinner, toss everything remaining into the bucket, return it to the office, and Maine Lobster Outlet will pick it up. No muss, no fuss!

Amazing family-owned business. Easy scheduling and they work to accommodate emergency late arrivals. Solid wifi throughout the camp. Literally located right on the ocean! Highly recommend 👌

Been coming here 15 years for a weeks vacation. Family owned, and they are absolutely awesome. The family has great pride in their campground and guest feel welcome. Atlantic Ocean at your doorstep. Pictures tell it all. Bruce and Nicole

Great camp ground right on the ocean. Pet friendly and easy access to water. Clean and very reasonable rates. All the hook ups and very friendly staff. The sites are close together but it works just fine. Definitely recommend this camp ground.

We did a 4 day road trip to Maine and parked our RV here for the nights to charge The staff was very easygoing and chilled, and the spot was absolutely beautiful. Stunning views of the ocean and a great spot for sunrise and sunset. Was a really calm, romantic spot at night you can see tons of stars and it's quiet we had no problem with noisy neighbours or anything. 10/10
