Great place with lots of outside areas for kids and family. Covered picnic tables, concrete parking for bus. Also has a beach area, and walking area.

Not bad for the price! The lady who runs it is active and super sweet. This was a wonderful place to take a long weekend! The splash pad and playground were great for evenings beside the camper. Loved the boardwalk, there was a bunch of wildlife. The beach is shallow out quite a ways so great for smaller kiddos! ⚠️ The boat launch is super shallow! And there is public access so the traffic at night was sketchy.

It’s a beautiful park, my family loves it. We’ve been here for a couple months and decided to put Christmas lights up to be festive with my kids. I received a phone call in regards to my site, I had to put my lights up and clean my site. We do as we are told but, a few sites down they have lights hanging from their tree, another site has stuff on the trees. If we are under a contract in which the contract states there shouldn’t be anything on the trees. Why is everybody else that is under the same contract able to get by with not obeying the rules and regulations on this contract?

Great spot for camping, fishing, & swimming. There are 3 playgrounds which are located in prime locations, the beach area, the camping sites, and one next to the camper sites. The bathrooms were clean and for the amount of traffic in and out… that was wonderful! The showers were also well maintained. I rated the park at 5 stars because it accommodated everything I was there for. ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ This is a public park. This park is not fenced. The manager was on premise, however when we checked in we could not find him. He did stop by the following day and announce we had set up in the wrong site. (The primitive sites are not numbered.) On that note… I cannot say if he patrols the area in the evening and throughout the night, however he was noticed throughout the day. I felt safe, even being right next to an open highway. Everyone that I interacted with, including guests, were all very kind and respectful. Quite time was communicated and it seemed all the guests and local public abided by it. The vehicles passing by on the highway and revving their engines while trying to sleep was a bit of an issue. EARPLUGS should be considered an essential item added to the camping list… you’ll thank me later!
