The room and area are beautiful. The service was friendly and kind. The hotub was disgusting. One of the Jets flew off and other people's funk ended up in the hot tub. They don't clean it properly. Ruined the whole stay for me.

We have been going to KY Lake f25 years, staying at Lighthouse Landing for nearly 20. The cottages are lovely, the views spectacular. They were recently updated. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. The town of Grand Rivers is charming. More restaurants being added. Many fun festivities and entertainment. LBL is beautiful and interesting. Some beautiful homes being built in Grand Rivers. It’s a favorite vacation destination.

We had a great stay at Lighthouse Landing! The cottage was clean and our view was awesome!! We rented a golf cart and had a great time riding around all day. Great stay and will be back again!!

This was our first time at this resort but second time staying on the lake by way of the boat. There was a lot that we weren't told when we made our reservation, which made our arrival less than ideal. No one was there when we got there at 5:00 PM although they tried to leave detailed instructions. We were told that it was a short walk from the dock to our cottage (S9). I included a small map to give you an ideal of the walk from our assigned boat slip, which really doesn't do the size of the resort justice. However, the walk was brutal, especially carrying supplies from the slip; and much of it was uphill. There needs to be a way to get to the dock from the south cottages without having to walk all the way around. They didn't tell me that they had wheel barrels to use (or rent), or that a golf cart was recommended. They also didn't tell me that there was a transient dock that I could have used. If you come by way of a vehicle, most of the above is not applicable to you, but if you come by way of a boat, do your homework and ask a lot of questions. The view is amazing, and the rooms are comfortable and accommodating. I recommend bringing a can of flying insect spray because the gnats in the room were horrible. I killed SEVERAL when we came in, but they seemed to still get in after the door was closed. You are around a lot of water, so that is to be expected, but a can of Raid is something that definitely needs to be a part of your packing list. Overall, I recommend the resort. However, for our short stay, there were more disappointments that seemed to outweigh the good.

My wife and I had an incredible stay at Lighthouse Landing Resort & Marina, and we can’t stop raving about it! The accommodations were exceptional—clean, modern, and beautifully designed with stunning lake views that made every moment relaxing. The staff’s warm, professional service truly elevated our experience, making our time here unforgettable. The new restaurant, The Wake Club, was a highlight. Both lunch and dinner were delicious, with top-notch service that made every meal special. Whether you’re looking to unwind or explore, this resort has it all. The real standout was the American Sailing Association courses offered by the resort, led by the phenomenal Captain John. His expertise, patience, and passion for sailing brought the lessons to life, both in the classroom and on the water. He skillfully guided us through challenging concepts, ensured a safe and fun environment, and even offered personalized tips for my mobility challenges, which made all the difference. Captain John’s “old salt dog” wisdom—teaching us to read the wind and sail intuitively—was both inspiring and empowering. We’re already planning our next visit and can’t wait to bring friends to experience this gem of a resort. Highly recommend Lighthouse Landing for an unforgettable getaway!
