This is my husband and I favorite place in the world to be. It is quiet, clean and absolutely beautiful. The trails are maintained for a short or long walk/bike ride. We have been a few times and never disappointed. There is a little gift shop at the bottom of the lighthouse where they offer guided tours of the lighthouse. Highly recommend.

Nice simple campground, right on Lake Huron. Has a small playground, a few cabins are available as well as camper and tent sites. The fishing area is very rocky.

This is a very good campground. They have 50 amp full hook up sites and sit right next to Lake Huron with amazing views. The lighthouse museum was closed when I was there but still able to walk around the beautiful grounds. This is also a great spot for stargazing. The nights I was there, the Milky Way was out in full force. There is not much around, so make sure you bring everything you need.
