Probably one of the better campgrounds you can go to. Super clean bathrooms and the grounds were kept up really nice. Water attachment was hard because it's mounted right against the power pedestal but it's doable. Just take your time and be patient. Took me a minute to realize I had to take my pressure regulator off my hose first and then put everything on. Sites weren't too close. Quiet except for the park which is to be expected but just know that until midnight or whenever they close, you're going to be hearing the coasters. Be early for check in. Gets busy on Friday.

Great campground... we love that gou can walk to the entrance and dont need to drive. They also have a shuttle that will take peoole over in case someone cant walk that far. We camped jn October for their Halloweekends and had an absolute blast. Highly recommend camping in your own rig or in one of their cabins!

Our third time staying at the campsites. The location is great however, for the price I would expect the sites to be some what maintained. It’s obvious that they do absolutely nothing once someone checks out. There was literally a pile of dog poop on our patio, the picnic table was dirty and covered with dried food and cobwebs, and the sewer pipe connection is broken. They charge more than Disneys fort wilderness so I guess I was expecting more.

I traveled to cedar point about every 10 years. We always stay at the breaker hotel. This time we decided to do the cabin with my oldest son. It was his first time there. Nice little cabin. Great water view. You get a little charcoal grill which that's why we went with the cabin this time instead of the hotel. All in all nice little place to set up shop to hit the park.

Ok so to start the check in went ok. The campground is all the way at the end so you drive through the park parking to get there. Have your reservation info ready. The office was nice and the staff accommodating when we asked for a spot near the pool. The camp store is not well supplied and super expensive. 14 dollars for an ice cream sandwhich and kid slushie. The sites are level and on concreat pads with a charcoal grill. The sites are close but landscaped nicely. Our site was near the end of the campground where the pool was. There was also a fishing pier at that end with a pretty view of the lake. Now for the DL on the pool. It was freezing and dirty. Grass and leaves in the water and debris on the pool deck. There is a small splash area for the littles. There is also a hot tub but dont bother. There were about 20 kids and no adults. It was like a giant bath tub for kids. No rules and a lot of unattended kids. The bathrooms at the pool were also disgusting. Poop on the seat. Bugs everywhere, trash and paper on the floor. Pure filth. Id risk poison on my bum in the bushes first. I felt bad for those campers who needed the bathroom because there was not another bathhouse sepparate from the pool. They offer shuttle to the park and early entey which was nice. Im not sure how late the shuttle ran because they said they were on the way when we called at 8 at the close of the park but never came. We ended up walking. Now for some other disappointments. No bikes scooters or other wheeled toys. But also no fires. I guess they have fires at their delux patio sites, but they are at the other end of the campground and theyre not very many. They say you can have a fire if its contained in a stove or other device off the ground. Who traves with those. It was really a shame becauae youd think with how much money this pkace makes they could do some minor upgrades and afford a better cleaning and pool service. 3 of of 5 for me.

Stayed in a waterfront cabin with 2 other adults. Great proximity to the park, excellent views of the lake, nice outdoor patio area to sit and relax. Not too loud even with the coasters running until 10:30-11 each night. Check-in staff was friendly and accommodating. Cabin itself left a lot to be desired. Odd musty smell in the main room never went away despite lots of time with door left open. Only decaf coffee packets were left, and no cups. Found various items leftover from (I'm assuming) previous guests, including nail clippers. Bathroom is ill-suited for 3 adults, much less the potential 6 person max capxity: there is maybe 2 square feet of counter space, all directly above the much-too-small toilet. Shower head did not swivel far enough away from bolted-on shower wash/soap dispensers, meaning those containers were constantly bumped into or you only got half the water stream. Beds were fine - having 3 beds is why I booked the cabin - and we appreciated the extra pillows. Overall, tough to recommend paying a premium for.

Very clean. Will definitely use this campground next time we return. You definitely pay for the convenience, but it is worth it. *Make sure you check your bill line items before checking out. Someone charged a drink to our campsite from one of the restaurants. Probably an honest mistake, but double check for any inaccurate charges. The ladies in the office removed it from our bill with no issues.

We got the deluxe cabin and were excited about the added space and sleeping options with the beds in the loft. The cabin was DISGUSTING, so filthy and crawling with ants and other bugs that I wasn’t comfortable sleeping downstairs. They put ant traps all over the downstairs which was only serving to attract more ants into the cabin. We couldn’t set anything on the counters or kitchenette because everything was crawling with ants. I called the front desk and asked for bug spray, they said they would come spray and wipe down surfaces to get rid of the bugs. When they knocked on the door they just handed us a can of Raid and left. There was still trash on the floors from previous occupants, it was pretty clear that they don’t actually vacuum and clean the cabins between visitors. There are wide open vents next to the toilets which smelled like a sewer and were caked with grime from people missing the toilet. Putting some kind of a shield on those vents might help stop them from smelling like a urinal. There are TVs by each sleeping area but most either didn’t work or the remotes were broken. Only the one in the downstairs bedroom worked, but we couldn’t sleep there with the bugs. One upstairs worked if you changed channels on the back of the TV. The cover was broken off of the key reader on the door, but luckily the lock worked. Overall I would highly recommend against staying here. It is nice being able to walk right over to the park, but there are plenty of nice hotel options outside of the park that we will explore in the future.

We stayed at Lighthouse Point June 30-July 3 (Monday-Thursday) in a camper. Check-in was quick and easy. Staff were kind and polite. We were at a pull-through site, which couldn’t be easier for getting set up. The campground itself was well maintained. Full hook-ups at our site, including sewer. We did not visit any restrooms so cannot speak to the cleanliness of those. We did use the pool and hot tub our first night there and that would be our only minor complaint. The water and surrounding concrete was dirty with debris from the trees and bugs, but otherwise, the water was the perfect temp. The little splash pad area is great for kiddos. The campground was quiet (obviously you’ll have the noise from the amusement park, but that is to be expected) and clean. The entrances to the amusement park and waterpark are a quick drive or less than 10 minute walk. We cannot speak to the condition of the cabins, as we didn’t stay in one. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and will be back!

Convenient, well cared-for campground right next to Steel Vengeance coaster. Makes for a really unique, fun camping location. Depending on your site, every 90 seconds or so you get the screams from that first coaster hill, but it's not loud or annoying and adds to the atmosphere. As others have mentioned, the bathrooms could be good, but need more frequent maintenance. They aren't designed for easier maintenance in mind, so that's at least part of the problem. Stick to your RV /camper bathroom if you have one. You pay a premium for the location, but that's to be expected. The basic sites have a lot more trees and shade, and in our opinion, nicer. I only wish there was another small entrance at the very top of the park near Steel Vengeance. It can be a bit of a hike if you want to come and go during your visit to the park. The shuttle service is not super convenient to use, and only used it once.

We arrived two hours after check in and we're told where our site was. We go to the site and there is an RV parked there. We go back to office to be told sorry that they have been calling them all day to remove the RV but have only gotten voicemail. I asked what was my family suppose to do after being on the road for five hours wait for them to leave the park? They said they were fully booked but they could cut 50% off my first night if we parked on their emergency site and move it again the next day. I told them no I would not do that because it's to much work to move that we would prefer to be playing at the park then moving our rv. After looking again they found an open spot and I accepted it. I then asked if I was going to get 50% off my first night still and I was told no because they fixed the problem. I'm not impressed that I was given such a run around right away and given nothing in return for a problem that was not caused by our doing. When it comes to the park it is beautiful and well kept. It's parked much further away from the cedar point entrance but they do provide a free shuttle. They also have a wonderful free splash pad and pool. My biggest issue is the restrictions they have. It's not camping to me. No tents, bikes, skateboards or fires! YES you read that right! No fires! What is camping if you can't have a fire? My kids and I were heart broken to not be able to roast marshmallows over a fire. A campground without fires is crazy. You can bring your own fire pit if it doesn't ruin their grass. Or pay double for a ultimate site.

We had an amazing time! Very specious ultimate patio back in site. Clean and very beautiful. Surprisingly peaceful with sights and sounds of coasters in the distance. Short walk to the beach. Park is walkable and they also offer shuttle service. We will be back for sure.

Very nice campground, nice bathrooms/showers and pool area… Only complaint is not just patrons speeding through the campground but also the shuttle drivers. Other then that great spot!

We loved our stay at our little cottage. We booked a lake facing cottage. Equipped with microwave, coffee pot, mini fridge, and sink, with a dedicated charcoal grill for each cabin. Deck chairs and a mini table facing the water. Full bed and futon slept 3 easily. 2 TVs, wifi, heat/air conditioning, shower, no tub in this one. Only concern was there was no where to hang clothes, so we kept them in the suitcase.
