Stayed here two nights and we had a really good time! Nice spot at the oceanfront and it was a good and calm vibe at the park. Clean facilities and super friendly and helpful owner :)

Phil is one of a kind. Had a family of 4 including us, heading into Lighthouse RV Park with the intent of tent camping. Our sites were unserviced but the place had a coin op showers and toilets. Phil went above and beyond with the services and couldn't ask for more. Will be coming here again in the future!

The view was beautiful, bathrooms were clean, and it’s a decent location on the island. Staff wasn’t friendly. We had to ask for the bathroom code via email (because there was no answer to any phone calls) and didn’t hear back for hours. The landscape was dried grass and some trees. There was also an issue with the fire. The care taker came around saying that it was a full fire ban. He said we couldn’t have a camp fire or even a propane fire. Which, when we looked it up on the Comox fire page and BC sites, we could have both. There is never a ban on propane fires.

Our stay was incredible! Beautiful views and excellent hospitality. It was my friend and I’s first time in our van and Phil, who I believe to be the owner, helped us manage our sewage and fill up our water tank. I highly reccomend!

My husband and I camped here originally in July 2019 and had a fabulous time. The park was busy, but the maintenance was meticulous. There was even fluffy white towels in the spotless bathrooms. We did get moved from the campsite we originally booked, but moved to a better, oceanfront site, without added cost to us. Fast forward to April 2024, we decide to book 2 nights, one going up Island, and another one week later going down Island. Knowing there was a chance that we may be moved sites by management, we paid $10 extra for a site guarantee. When we arrived, the park was a ghost town. It looked unkempt, with just a few over-winter trailers, and 1 other camper... Set-up in the site we reserved. We went to the office, which was closed, and called the number indicated. The owner was currently in Alberta, and told us to pick another spot. I asked for my $10 site guarantee to be refunded, and was ridiculed. Really? She asked. It's only $10, she said. But the whole point of the $10 was to guarantee our spot, I replied. No response. Later, we realized that no one had given us the code for the bathroom door, and when we texted her and asked, she ignored that as well. My husband is a chatty guy and talked to a local to ask what happened to the park between 2019 and 2024 and he said that the owner's son was originally running the place, but she fired him because he wasn't making enough profit. So there you go. The park is profit above comfort and customer service. We cancelled the second night and will never return.

Zero customer service . . Took 2+ weeks to get a hold of someone, after calling a couple times a week and countless messages a woman finally answered and was quite rude with me. I had some questions about long term stay and she flat out told me to call back in September. She wasn't at all interested in helping me out. I guess I should be grateful as the place looks quite run down and no view of anything except the oyster shell piles from the processing facility next door.

Our family had an awesome time here. The park is very well run and has beautiful views. It was so nice to sit and look out over the water in the evenings. We can't say enough good things about David. He was so welcoming, kind and helpful. We will definitely stay again when we visit the island next.
