Convenient store to visit when fishing at Caballo Lake. We ordered large minows and got some that were very small.

This is a GREAT Bait shop! Live baits too, They also sell fishing licenses for the year, day or 5 day.. They have foods, ICE, and most everything you'd need..The staff is Very Friendly and know some good History about the area. Ask Her about Roosevelt's Cabin that he used for Gold prospecting up in the Caballo mountains!! They like Minerals n Crystal's, so check out the ones they have for sale and display.

We stop at Lil Abners for minnows, and to say hi to Sadie the big cute loveable dog. This place is great, and the people that own it are friendly. Plus they sell Muddy water Catfishing merchandise here!

Love this place! Nice shade. Store is stocked with fishing gear and had a nice variety of essentials. I'm sorry I can't remember her name... The new owner but she was very nice and fun to visit with. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars and not 5 is because it's has interstate noise and I know there's nothing they can do about that. Thank you for a great week! Hope to see you again!

Very nice little place near Caballo Lake. Owners are welcoming and helpful. Lovely spots with shade. Small country store with necessities and fishing tackle. Laundry just down the road and Super Walmart 20 minutes via I-25.

Very welcoming place. Spoke on the phone to see if they had room and they waited for us to pull in. They guided us to our spot and provided all sorts of useful information. They obviously love the area and their RV park. Basic but clean. Lots of full timers which is par for the course. Full hook ups at a reasonable price with friendly owners is hitting the jackpot for us. Some traffic from the nearby road behind the park was a bit of a bummer, but it settled down toward late evening for the most part.

The new owners are very friendly and give great fishing info. The store is always clean and the bait is always fresh. If you stop by be sure to say hi to the "guard" dog. His bark is way worse than his bite!
