We’ve camped at Apache before love the location to the town and restaurants. Campground and restrooms are clean. Dry dog friendly. The hikes around camp are great as well. If you’re lucky you will see the wild horses come into camp they are beautiful!!!

Stayed in 2 different campgrounds in the area, drove through them all. This is the one you want for privacy and beautiful scenery. Camp host was awesome! Nice nature trail around the area.

I’ve been coming here since I was a child. This is the best place to stay in cloudcroft if you’re looking for a nice and relaxing camping trip. All of the camp-host are very nice and friendly. Especially Marcine the best camp-host we have ever had and his little adorable well behaved dog KC. Alan Rodger’s manning the showers and dump station is also very friendly.

The campground is beautiful, nice & quiet. The camp host was super helpful and kind. Would’ve rated it higher if we didn’t have to pay $7 a person to take a 10 minute shower when I’m already paying $32 a night for the camp Ground. Also, they only take cash which isn’t their fault but it is kinda of inconvenient.

One of our favorite vacation spots. One of the biggest benefits is the camp host Marsane Basquait! He keeps the bathrooms exceptionally clean and well stocked, the campsites are neat and tidy as well. He checks in with all the campers to make sure everyone is comfortable and all safety protocols are followed, such as no campfires due to the dry conditions. There was an incident where some dogs were off leash at a nearby campsite and he promptly and professionally handled the situation. We felt very safe and well taken care of during our stay at Apache campground, thanks to Marsane. Hoping to return soon!

Location is less than ten minutes from town and super close to Cloudcroft brewery which has great beers and pizza if you don't feel like cooking. Not as open spaced away from other campers but great for those who are new to camping or have RVs/Campers.

Great place for tent camping, we spend just one night there but everything was so clean and quiet! I'll definitely be coming back. Bathrooms are super clean.

Very nice and peaceful! Has a nice little nature trail. Bathrooms were very clean . Make sure to throw out trash we did have a bear rub against our tent and go through our beer chest

I haven't camped here. But my friend and I drove through the campground to check it out in late August 2023. It is a beautiful national forest campground. There are so many tree. So green and lush. And let me tell you this: it was 98⁰ in Alamogordo and only 77⁰ in this campground. That's a huge difference. This is where I want to be during the summer.

Been going here since my childhood with my grandparents. It's super shady and really pretty, perfect spot for summer campers. Great little trail around the campground for the elderly and small children as well as nice long hiking trails for everyone else

Camp host was friendly and helpful. Vault toilets were clean and well stocked. Area was clean. Nice sites. Beautiful place! There were some pay showers at the beginning of the loop. Definitely going back!

It's a nice quiet place, it has a water station and clean enough bathrooms. The spot by the bathroom gets light up a lot in the night. There are a lot of silky worms hanging, flying and dropping everywhere. The manager said they are treating the area for weevil beetle, so is in recovering mode. He was helpful and agreeable. We got to see some deer in the morning. 😃
