This is a great campground right on Alice Lake. My campsite (#12) was right on the short river that drains Victoria Lake. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is a short trail along the river and if you walk about 2km up Victoria Main Rd you can get to a beautiful spot at the bottom of Victoria Lake.

This place is excellent! The hosts go above and beyond to make sure your experience is positive. We arrived during a bit of a rain storm and Shane offered us a tarp. We gladly accepted and assumed he would just bring the tarp to our site. Nope! He came back with a tarp and completely set it up for us! There were two cyclists that showed up all soggy so he went over and set up a tarp for them as well! Just a great dude. Obviously we gave him a beer, it was much deserved. Can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful remote campground on Lake Alice. Large spacious tree covered sites. Each site has a solid picnic table and fire ring. The ones facing the lake are a little more expensive than the interior sites. Pit toilets are in good shape and clean. There is no water since its dry camping though you do have a large lake. There is a boat ramp and small swim area by the dock. Also find a few games set up around the camground including horse shoes, tic-tac-toe, checkers and more. Great place to take you SUP, kayak or swim.

The camp hosts Shane and Ryan are THE best. We rolled in shivering on our bicycles after 50 miles getting drenched in the rain and they immediately set up this massive tarp for us to get dry under. Shane even drove into town to grab us propane so we could use one of their fire pits. It was incredible. We ended up staying two nights instead of one so we could rest up and wait out the bad weather. This campground also seems to attract really kind and interesting campers. Had a great time and would recommend!

What a wonderful place! We got in on our bikes in the afternoon and the host was so welcoming. He did everything to make our stay great. Everyone we met there was kind and interesting. The location itself was incredibly beautiful, and dawn on the lake was superb. Some fellas were building a catamaran out of tarp (somehow) and kids were flying kites. Felt a bit like paradise. I could have stayed for a week.

What a sweet spot. We were touring around and when we found a campsite right on the lake we grabbed it and relocated our gear from Marble River recreation site. Our site was right on the water and perfect for morning coffee, reading and launching our kayak and sup. There were lots of young kids about: floating down the river, playing on the swings and on the beach. It is moderately rustic site so bring your own potable water and expect pit toilets, but everything is very clean and well organized. The caretaker, Shane, is a super host - very welcoming and helpful. We will be back!

Beautifully kept park and campground , easily accessible by any vehicle from the paved road , many camping spaces and some even on the shoreline. Reservation highly recommended , many hiking trails , fishing and kayaking areas nearby , the hosts do exceptional job and this is the place to stay when around the Port Alice area
