Very laid back campground. Everyone is super friendly and looks out for one another. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They had everything printed out and current knowledge of all the trails that were open/closed. Made our trip a lot easier with them being better prepared than us. The only thing I hope they work on in the future would be better marking of the campsites. When you look at their map it seems simple but when driving around trying to find your site and the parking spot. It gets a little confusing. But overall a great base camp to relax and explore the area. Will be back in the future.

First time camping. Wanted to share an experience with my wife and two golden retrievers. We have been nothing but impressed with the location, amenities, and owners here. The grounds are clean. The owners visit the camp sites (all of them) at dusk to collect your trash. The bathrooms are private, each with a shower, and are cleaner than my bathrooms at home. Dog park for the pups. We will be back, undoubtedly.

My favorite place to stay in that part of the NC mountains! The owners are the sweetest and most accommodating couple! They are there to help out in any way you need. Last time we stayed my daughter got stung by a bee and they were so kind to go to their home to get stuff to help us. This time we got there late and they were so sweet and willing to help. Best place in my book to stay. We have tent camped and also rented their camping cabin. Perfect location, bathrooms are always clean and perfect, and the cabin we stayed in was stocked with just the right essentials to make us feel hope. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in or near Linville!

This is a beautiful mountain campground and an absolute favorite. It's wooded, with beautiful views and so quiet. RV sites are full hookup, and there are also primitive tent sites. Also, cabins for rent. Very nice laundry and showers. The couple who runs it are so nice and helpful. There are some groceries and other items available for purchase in the office. Roads are narrow bot navigable. Dog park, playground.

I am a returning guest of the campground. Marla is very welcoming and accommodating. Marla and Kenny are working very hard to rebuild from Helene and are doing a great job. They have rebuilt the pavilion that was lost and have built a very pretty stairway from the laundry room to the lower sites. My little cabin was cozy, clean and perfect for this weekend. It had everything I needed in the kitchen to include a full size refrigerator and gas stove. Comfortable bed. And tons of rhododendrons as my view. Very relaxing. Linville Falls is such a great area to visit and the community is working hard to rebuild and recover. I will definitely return and stay at this campground when I can. Thank you, Marla and Kenny!

Great quaint little campground.. the spots are small but that’s why is quaint. Everything was neat, clean and it great working condition. That bathhouse and laundry was super clean.. We had a nice and quiet stay. Very close to Linville Falls.. highly recommend if your rig will fit!

I've stayed here twice and neither time had a reservation. They were extremely accommodating allowing me to switch sites to get a week. The staff are all super nice and friendly, but also keep folks in line when they break rules. The bath house is always pristine and is cleaned every day. This is a very peaceful and quiet campsite with all varieties if sites from rustic and very private to huge RV with all the hook ups. I'd give 6 stars if I could!

We stayed at the Camping Cabin a few weeks ago. Everything was nice and clean. We were on the back on the campground and there was quiet for our campfire. The playground was great for our girls. We could only stay a night, but I think it was a great value for that. Marla was very helpful and friendly. She had the best fall decorations. The bathrooms were first class. We'd probably come back again just to see Linville Falls and camp. It was a cozy experience I think we'd do again.

We have gone to this campground for years! We love it. The campsites are well-arranged, and we tent camp on an RV site, to have the convenience of water and electric at our site. The bathhouse has been updated and has 6 individual bathrooms, each with its own shower. The laundry room has been moved to the bathhouse and has a sink to do dishes in - so well-thought out! The owners are so nice and are available whenever you need them. Linville Falls are just a few miles away and is a nice hike.
