We definitely recommend checking out this camp ground. There is plenty to do in and around Lion’s Head and a spectacular beach! However, if privacy at the campsite is what you’re looking for, this may not be the place for you.

Typical Marina campground. Good for those looking to sleep for the night. Lots of friendly seasonal campers. No privacy whatsoever with the sites, as typical with a Marina campground. Small sites with a picnic table and fire ring on each site. Beautiful location right on the clean, soft sand beach with gorgeous views of the harbour and the light house. Many of the sites back right onto the water. The beach and bathrooms with showers are a short 2 minute walk from the back end of the campground. Clean bathrooms and a small, quieter campground. Not an ideal spot for those looking to truly camp as it is an in town campground with minimal trees but not a bad spot to be if you don't mind some chatting with the seasonal camper and a smidge of small town traffic noise. It was a perfect spot for us, who used the site as a spot to cook and sleep after exploring the local areas for the day.

We wanted a campsite near the Bruce Trail. The camp itself is not perfect, I'd go with 4 stars only (as others mentioned, the tent lots are crowded by the RVs) - but its proximity to the grocery store, coffee shops, a restaurant, even a Home&Hardware, makes it a good place. The bathrooms have a code, and are clean and with plenty of hot water. The beach is overseeing the marina and the Lion's Head bluffs - the water is crystal clear and refreshing after a ling hike. The camp itself is on the BT and 10 minutes off the Lion's Head loop (a 19 km beauty) and close to the lookout itself (a more accessible loop). You're literally in the middle of the Bruce Peninsula, within half hour access to any of the other places (including Singing Sands or Tobermory). All in all, it's a lovely place.

Visited this place on 21st June. It's a good spot to chill around, especially near the water - really peaceful and relaxing. But I didn't find any food shops nearby, even though some reviews on Google mentioned there were. Maybe it was because of the weather - it was windy and rainy that day. The washrooms were a bit unclean, but still manageable. Overall, a nice place to visit and unwind.

If you are looking for a proper tent campground to experience quiet camping time, this place is not for you. It’s a cramped area filled with trailers and a few tent sites in between. It’s over populated with trailers and cars. One end of the campground faces a green space and gravelly road, car campers camp there, they stay up all night and party. This place is definitely not for families with young children. During our stay, there was a concert right behind the campground until 1:30 AM. Avoid this place if you are looking for quiet camping and prefer restful sleep at night after hiking or water activities.
