Little Beaver

We were otw home GA and saw this on the side of the road, we couldn’t help to not stop at such a great place, it was during the weekend so the store was closed, but this is a cool little place to stop if you’re by this area. Don’t regret it

This place is incredible. I stayed one night, left and stayed at a different park and hour away and it was awful so I went back to little beaver and stayed two more nights. I didn't want to leave! Non power sites are super private and beautiful. I nearly had the place to myself. Fawns appear regularly. Non buggy. A cardinal visited me every morning to tap on my windows and peep at himself in my van mirror. I loved every minute at this place. Even had great cell service. Hope to return one day💙💚

Nice area. Some sites steep entry. Saw a guy about tear his jack off the back. Area around bathouse has people coming and going as sites are all in one big area pretty much. There were some sites down the hill in the trees. Probably better for smaller rigs. Kids tend to hang out around bathouse. We were on sites 20 and it was pretty good. Site 25 as well. Not really any shade. Worked pretty good for our 45ft rig, but some sites are unlevel. Walking trails could use some work and aren't marked real well. Lots of deer. Would visit again. No sewer that we seen. Dump station is nice and level though. Has one washer and dryer that was really nice. $1.50 wash, $1.00 dry. It's at the bathouse.

The park was quiet and loaded with deer. The disk golf course was really fun and there were several deer filled trails. The bathrooms are also clean, the only downside to the upper camps(non electric) is that there is no direct trail marked to the bathroom. This makes you walk all the way around, which is some distance away. I don't mind raking some leaves but when you pull into the office and two people are sitting and you have to rake your entire site, that's not ok. All the sites had leaf litter over 10" deep in areas around the benches and sitting areas. The sites are large with easy pull out. The slide needs repaired as the tube is cracked.

Nice quiet campground. The reservoir is nice to walk around. Super close to New River Gorge NP. We don't usually need our use campground wifi. But, it was raining a lot. It's the best wifi we've ever had at a campground.

Camped here in a 38ft Fifth wheel. The sites are level with a small few to accommodate big rigs. Sites have water and 30 amps service only. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers have a bench and plenty of hooks! The roads to get into the park are steep and windy. The price was $28 per night. New River Gorge National River is nearby with lots of hiking (hiking trails in Little Beaver SP as well). Stock up before coming into park (not many stores in the area), Good WIFI at site but, only get a couple of tv channels We would stay here again. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
