This well-maintained destination is situated along the shores of its namesake lake, providing a blend of natural beauty and outdoor recreation. It is a quintessential regional park that captures the essence of a classic prairie summer.

Location & Surroundings

The park is found just outside the village of Glaslyn, SK, serving as a gateway to the province's northern lake country. Surrounded by rolling hills and native vegetation, the setting provides a scenic backdrop for various wildlife. The proximity to the Boreal forest edge ensures that the air is fresh and the environment feels secluded, even though it remains easily accessible for those driving medium to large RV rigs along the primary regional highways.

Amenities & Park Features

Campers will find a variety of site options ranging from non-electric to electrified RV sites suitable for different equipment sizes. The park features several key amenities to enhance your stay:

  • A beautifully maintained 9-hole grass green golf course.
  • A modern shower house and convenient laundry facilities.
  • A public boat launch and dedicated playground area for children.

For those who enjoy a bit of friendly competition, the mini-golf course and clubhouse serve as popular gathering spots for guests of all ages during the warmer months.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the excellent fishing opportunities for Northern Pike and Perch on Little Loon Lake. Beyond the water, the area is ideal for birdwatching and hiking along the local trails. If you are looking for a day trip, the larger Turtle Lake is only a short drive away, offering additional beaches and boating experiences. The surrounding rural landscape is perfect for those who enjoy photography or quiet afternoon drives through the peaceful Saskatchewan countryside.

Very nice regional park. Visit every year. The water has always been swimable, the campsites are decent and vary in styles, and the golf course is nice to swing the clubs around on.

What a fantastic and quaint place to relax and golf at. The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant is well priced and delicious. Had a great time and will definitely come back.

This park and this lake are simply a gem. The swimming is excellent and the campground is well maintained. The clubhouse restaurant was good. The only thing that I thought could be improved was access to water in the tenting area, and the communal washrooms could be redone. They are dated. But I’ll be back with my grandkids.
