We stayed in the A frames and although dated, we were very happy with our stay. Comfortable beds and the lake is right out the door. If you're looking for fancy and ritz, this is not the place for you. If you want a comfy, homey experience and feel like you just stepped out of a scene from Dirty Dancing, this is more your groove. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great place to get away for the weekend. We rented one of the 2 bed room cabins with kitchenette for $480/night. The cabin was in great shape, it has a small fridge, 2 burner stove a sink, pans, dishes and utensils. The couch in the main area is a hide-a-bed. My only critique is that it was very dirty under and behind things. I dont think anyone has ever vacuumed under the beds. There was a ton of dirt and dust under them and the couch. There is a restaurant that opens for breakfast lunch and dinner. The food was pretty good. The front desk in the lodge sells swag, snacks and beer by the can. Kayaks can be rented at the rental center but we didn't try them out. They look fun. One thing to mention is that there is great access to the spruce railroad, Olypic Discover and Adventure trails. We brought our EMTBs and rode miles both ways. There is alot of wildlife in the park. We saw deer multiple times a day and had ducks come visit for a bit one of the days.

Stayed for few nights last week in a camper cabin! Had all I needed for a beautiful cozy little base for my day hikes! The view from this place is unreal amazing views of lake crescent and storm king! Restaurant on site was awesome too! The waitress working Monday and Tuesday during dinner was exceptional and offered some great advice for an upcoming hike!(:

Stunning location. Camp site wasn't cleaned nor did we see anybody cleaning any of the sites after guests checked out. No trash cans in campground. Camp sites were short and narrow. Huge line in the reception with one clerk. She was trying to deal with one unhappy guest for over 10 minutes until I intervened! On the last night they blew a fuse and the power was off all night. But if you want to bike the Spruce Trail, the location is wonderful.

The views are amazing! That is by far the best part of the log cabin resort. The staff was very rude and made a disparaging remark to me about telling time. Not appreciated coming from a 16 year old kid who was on his phone and not working. The rooms were filthy and the dust bunnies under the bed, half pet hair of course, were the worst I've ever seen. There is not a good place for people to put garbage. Worst of all the only bathroom for the campers and cabins has water overflowing onto the floor directly from the toilet. The floor was completely wet with toilet water. So in addition to being filthy there is a serious public health issue going on. This all leads me to wonder who is permitting this facility and do they know how disgusting it was. Suffice to say, I will not be coming back.
