I live less than 5 miles from the park. It's a hangout for bbqing and sitting with friends. The restrooms were horrible at one time, but Alabam Power is picking up their game. Plenty of space for several groups to enjoy.

Went here to fish and no luck that day. But have caught plenty on fish from here in the past. There is a nice little swimming area and play ground here with pavilions. No shade from the sun really in the fishing area so if you have a good beach umbrella with screw in base I would recommend bringing it with you.

Great little spot for the kids to enjoy and you not to break the bank. It's got restrooms, roped off swimming area, fishing areas, trails, playground and some awesome views. Pics with meta Ray-Bans.

Great park, no swings, fishing, swimming, and an easy trail, less than 2 miles long. You can cross the damn for fishing in more turbulent waters (I’ve seen some big old bass, just yesterday a 5lb stripe and I wasn’t on that side but about 15 mins). If you stay on the side with the park, there are several piers to fish off of (Game warden does frequent this spot and checks every- quick pass the pole to the kid!), a long shore line for throwing rocks, walking, a nice size swim area, picnic tables, shade, etc. one of my family’s go to spots as there is something for everyone and all the kids.

Big beautiful lake with wonderful views! There is a small swimming hole area (not the cleanest but regardless a swimming area), a big playground area, bathrooms (again not the cleanest, I definitely recommend using another area’s), fishing dock, and a hiking trail that wraps around a side of the lake! There are a few picnic tables here as well.
