The worse campground we have been to in our 45 years of camping all across the United States. Campsite blacktop was all torn to pieces and the electric did NOT work which we didn't find out until late at night when it got cool. We were booked for 3 nights. Stayed the 2nd night and thought the electrical problem was our new camper. It was not. It was the power pole. There was absolutely no one to talk to about this and no one at the Park will ever answer the phone. Not to mention the annoying 2 dogs that barked all day and all night in sight 27 across the road. They never shut up and the rangers NEVER came around. We sure will NOT ever return to this park. Ever!!

Surprisingly large and nice state park, kind of in the middle of nowhere. Camping spots were well spaced out and plenty of options to hang a hammock. Could watch fish jump in the water. Not a lot of light pollution, so really good night sky viewing. Reserve sites ahead, at icampmo. Easy gravel path from parking to campsites. Campground had a host.

We got a spot very close to the water. We got to see the sunrise; it was beautiful. The camp host stopped by and we had a good conversation about places to go next. We watched an Osprey or a falcon catch a fish. He said they have eagles around there too. The signage from the main road was not the best and we came in around 9pm without moonlight so it was a little difficult to find our site, but it was such a great place I can’t take a star away for that.

Very nice place, there is gazebos with a picnic table, and grill. The scenery is beautiful. The beach is a good size. The swimming area is boardered with a big long yellow boyue. Restrooms pretty well kept. An outside rinsing shower, and it works!!
