I was looking for a seasonal site somewhere close to Edmonton, I've never actually stayed here or spoke with anyone in charge at this camp ground but Honestly when reading some of the one star reviews I thought to myself I mean it's so very hard to please everyone, and their isn't a campground out there that does have a perfect review. But the one thing that do stand out more then the one star reviews are The responses from the Owner/Manger... Seems to have just about the absolute rudest attitude and the poorest business sense I ever read, also, they seem to avoid any and all accountability whatsoever. I'm Completely shocked at the responses from this business owner. It's really worth the read for anyone considering to camp here in the future, for sure you will notice the sarcastic remarks and lack of accountability in their responses. I can only thank the previous Customers for posting these one star reviews, it really helped me avoid this place that seems to carry such toxic behavior... Thank you. Also, To the Owner of this Campground, please don't bother responding to this review. I will not reply back as I do not care for your lack of professionalism or poor business practice... Or.... FEEL FREE TO RESPOND WITH THE SAME TOXIC ATTITUDE THAT YOU HAVE DONE WITH THE PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS THAT HAD SUCH SIMPLE LITTLE PROBLEMS THAT COULD PROBABLY HAVE BEEN RESOLVED WITH A FEW SIMPLE WORDS LIKE "WE APOLOGIZE " OR "WE ARE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE " I THINK IF YOU WERE TO CARRY JUST A LITTLE PROFESSIONALISM ALOT OF THESE 1 STAR REVIEWS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. HAPPY TRAILS... 😒😒😒

Great spot to RV. Close to the river, lots of nearby hiking, the rates are competitive, and the services are aplenty. Gibbons is a nice little quiet town and Fort Sask is just a stone's throw away.

It's a very good camp ground, would give it a 5 star if I was there myself, but working from home with the family along, they are not setup for children, it you stay and work not for family's, children enjoy riding there bikes and they prefer that they stay on the grass, is a challenge to explain 3 yr Olds they can't ride on where is drive easier to stay off of

We found Longriders last year and have stayed for a couple months at a time. They have gates when you come in where you have a code for entry, feels very safe. The staff here are very helpful. Debbie and Brenda in the front office are a pleasure to deal with, and will try and accommodate the best they can. They also have a clean affordable laundry area, open 24 hours so if on night shift you can still get laundry done. The town of Gibbons is super close as well for a quick trip to the grocery store etc. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

As of my husband's first review it was just his opinion but as for fact the fertilizer plant that is only 15km away that spews dust into the air is why you wake up with headaches and a dry mouth. If you enjoy the smell and taste of fertilizer this is the place to go. Enjoy your stay
