The park features level, spacious pads equipped with full hookups and plenty of room for big rigs. Beyond the standard utility connections, guests enjoy access to a refreshing swimming pool and hot tub, which are essential for cooling off after a day in the sun. Being part of a resort complex, RVers also have easy access to multiple dining options and a 24-hour casino, ensuring entertainment is always within walking distance.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
The primary draw for most visitors is the short drive to Death Valley National Park, where travelers can explore iconic landmarks like Badwater Basin or Zabriskie Point. Even closer is the Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, a hidden gem known for its crystal-blue springs and rare desert pupfish. For those looking for a different kind of desert experience, the nearby Big Dune Recreational Area offers sand-boarding and off-roading. After a day of exploring, returning to the park for a sit-down meal at the Longstreet Inn provides a perfect end to the day.
Who This Park Is Best For
This resort is ideal for travelers who want to combine outdoor adventure with modern creature comforts. It appeals strongly to Death Valley visitors who prefer reliable hookups and amenities over dry camping inside the national park boundaries. It caters well to those seeking a reliable, amenity-rich stop in a remote and beautiful location.

We enjoyed our stay, the place had great atmosphere, rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. There was good food and live music. The place was quirky but fun!

Perfect location for a sunrise in Death Valley! We checked in late at night and went straight to sleep, so the “retro” style was not very disturbing. The furniture is very old, hygiene could be improved. Overall a nice stopover!

We didn’t stay the night, but we stopped by and really enjoyed the visit. The vintage Western decorations are fun and give the place a unique charm — it feels like a little time capsule in the desert. The bathroom and casino were both clean, which was a nice surprise for a roadside stop. If you’re passing through near Death Valley, it’s worth a quick visit for the quirky vibe and peaceful scenery.

This is an amazing hotel! It has a great vibe, as it is pretty much alone out in the desert, and feels really cozy and homey. The food from the restaurant is delicious, service great, and the convenience store fairly priced. I also love the old style and many statues that are spread through the hotel, which both kids and adults love! The pond out back is also pretty, and the little gazebo is perfect for sitting in.

This place is awesome! Staff who checked us in was super friendly and accommodating. They allow dogs, which is great. We had a lake view room on first floor so it was easy to take our dogs outside. Grounds and hotel room were very clean. This place has old vintage vibes and we adored it. The food is also good and the mini mart at front desk makes it really convenient to get a few things here and there. They also have fuel pumps which make for an easy option to fill up on your way in or out. We will absolutely be back!
