Lubbock RV Park

Close to the Lubbock Airport, so far a lot of helicopter and vehicle highway traffic noise. Our site, new area, dirt, grassy area has a lot of "Goat Head" stickers. Great large, level concrete pads. Average, reasonably priced.

I won’t be back Why you ask? Actually it’s your average park the good thing is sites have a decent space between them. Where my problem lies is the amount of prickly grass. As a dog owner I was constantly pulling them not only from my clothing and feet but worse still pulling them out of my dogs feet. I did ask the manager if they do anything about them which she said no they don’t. Also with the lack of trees the winds are horrendous to the point it broke my RV entrance door while opening it. So no thanks won’t be returning.

Laundry facilities were excellent. Showers were spectacular! There were no stickers in the dog park. I've stayed there twice. I would go back again.

We arrived late but we picked up our information packet outside the office. Our site was way in the back, which was nice. Many campers are living here full time but we were more isolated. Spaces were a decent size in the back and we looked out on an agricultural field. We had a pull though site and the camper sat on a concrete slab. The campground was adjacent to the interstate so it was rather noisy esp in the front. There was a nice room that had a TV, ping pong table, some fitness equipment, laundry and a pool.

Very nice park. Restrooms very clean. However, if you are a light sleeper it is across the interstate from the airport.
