Our wifi wasn't great so if you're looking to unplug theres trails and swimming campground is well maintained and wood for sale. Stores are close by for anything u forgot or if it rains out to go grab snacks. We watched Solons fireworks and rhe next day went to good neighbor days for their events on the 5th

Great little spot! When I was here there was a lot of RV camping more than tent camping. Pros: - Nice clean restrooms with several shower stalls. - Big modern playground area for kids - Nice lake views! There is a boat slip rental area, beaches, and spots on the lake to grill out - Reasonable price for car camping - There is a concert venue bandshell in walking distance. I didn't see any concerts while I was here, but my neighbors said they were excited to see them? Cons: - This campground is directly next to a railroad, and even with earplugs in they woke me up a few times a night while in my tent. Maybe the sound is better if you're inside of an RV? - The camping spots are quite small, so everyone felt a bit squished together. It was easy to hear everyone around you.

nice quiet campground, family friendly, and on Saturday nights they have a concert and if you sit by your campfire and listen its free. Nice beach for swimming as well. Great place to stay.

Really nice place, but had a few issues. First the pricing structure was unclear. They have listed pricing for electric use only for $25 and with water for $30. You pay online and I paid the listed amount only for them to change it themselves (which I didn't know they can do). Second, they have trains going by all day long and perhaps 1 at night. The restrooms were top notch - the best I've seen. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Ended up staying only one night.

Beautiful campground, wonderful park crew. Full bathrooms, fun playground, and beach area. Has an outside shower by the beach. Has some trails for walking. Don't forget bug spray. Dog friendly!! Has a pavilion (brown log building) that you can rent that has bathrooms and a fridge in it. It's used for parties and weddings. (Call the douglas county forestry office to rent it) You can also rent the sound shell, which is a beautiful setting for weddings. They do concerts in the summertime June through August every saturday which is super fun when you are camping. Tickets can be purchased online for those who aren't camping and want to enjoy some tunes.

Great park. Nice jungle gym for kids to play on. Beach is nice .

I love this park. It has a nice playground. Enough space for parties. You can rent the log house and the atrium. It has 2 smaller pavilion for public use. It also has a small walking trail through the woods.

Nice park. No firewood vendor. Trains run by every few hours. Great venue for live music. Nice playground by the beach.

Very nice park and swimming area on the lake. Paths for walking. Nice playground. There is a boat launch area, we put in a canoe once. We were there for a dance recital. Large stage and chairs were set up or you could use your own. Have been there several times.
