Folks! Our second visit. First understand this place/spot/RV resort is well kept on the rouge river, pet friendly. Our last visit here was super nice 11/23. Upon arrival @ 2 pm check in time. There was no one in the office, I knocked and tried to yahoo through the COVID gate no answer. That's when a gentleman approached and said hello, I said I was there for space 8. He guided me in. Great guy. Later I went back to the office and a lady came out, and said ohh you got in and parked without seeing me first! I said well you weren't here, and I'm here now. So proceeded to pay, when I asked for a printed receipt seemed to be a technical problem and after she figured it out she would bring it over. When we got the receipt we found a billing mistake, my wife asked if it could be reviewed? seemed like a hassle but yes. Upon review she the manager found there to be an error, Later brought the new receipt over, we were outside visiting family, she handed me the receipt and said it was only 12.86 in a rude tone. Back to the resort it's a beautiful well kept place. They do have live ins, but ill tell ya all friendly, no riffraff.

Best place ever to just get away and relax while watching the mailboats go by on the world famous Rogue River. The park managers Rick and Cindy are outstanding. The park has a quarter mile of private river frontage allowing a person the access the river for fishing and swimming. Laundry facilities, ice, and bait available. 20 minute drive down the river to Gold Beach and the Pacific Ocean.

Beautiful spot! I would like to tell you that our experience at Lucky Lodge wasn't good so no one else finds out about this hidden gem. So, if you don't like beautiful views, don't like clean bathrooms and don't like incredible people who make your stay wonderful, don't stay here. Otherwise, it's heaven on Earth!

We have stayed in Gold Beach in years past, but the staff at this place made you feel like family. Super friendly and helpful getting us settled into our RV site. Nice mix of folks to make life interesting, and we did get to hear plenty of stories. If you need to get out of town to beat the heat, then head on down to the beach and plan on staying at this quiet oasis nestled right on the banks of the Rogue River. Cheers

The location of the park is awesome being right on the river. My kid and dog couldn’t get enough time in the water. Only negative thing I can possible say about the place is if your Rv or trailer is a little on the longer size a few of the spots would be tight backing in but do able. The park host was more than willing to help guide you in. I thought the park host was very polite and professional. I would stay there again. Clean nice green grass and everyone around you is very friendly.
