Lundar is known for its beautiful sunset. we stayed in one of the premium site(21). It has trail to the beach and we experienced the shoreline tenting. sounds of the waves, pelicans and other birds were our lulaby at night. Peaceful campground. Water and electricity on site. Shallow beach where kids can enjoy swimming or kayaking. However, Lundar beach experience will be better IF those millions of fish flies are not around. They dont bite its annoying so we didnt enjoy so much staying outside the tent. If only there is a mitigation plan for these flies to be eradicated or at least lessen their presence then it will be highly recommended.

I think it definitely depends on which site you book here, some of them seemed quite crowded and lacking privacy, but the lots 24 and up in section 2 seemed great, and much more isolated from the heavily occupied and wild RV/Electrified sites at the entrance of the grounds. The private walk outs to the beach were very grown in, and the sites are mostly infested with squirrels that like to chew through your garbage bags. Bathrooms leave some cleanliness to be desired. The lake is extremely murky, you can't see the bottom as soon as you put your foot into the water it disappears into the green water. But it is very shallow, for miles. So not to worry, you won't suddenly drop into deep water. It's about knee deep for a very long time. There is also a trail you can walk through. It leads you through the marshes with a chance to stop and view the fields from a short 5-6 foot tall watch tower. It was also very grown in but the breeze was nice when you manage to catch some of it. Showers... Only 2 stalls are available, at the entrance of the campground. Just bring a portable shower bag and wash up at the rear section of your site if you're in section 2. The trees provide a ton of privacy there. All in all, the privacy of our particular site, low bug count, and beautiful sunset made the grounds worth visiting. There is not much to do out here but you will get your fill of nature and reduced screen time while you're visiting!

Lundar Beach Provincial Park - Had a Seasonal Site right on the beach, Small Campground but well worth the visit. Sunsets are amazing, beach is great, and the trail through the marsh is worth regular treks. Campground is clean - modern showers, campground is well kept, if you have a larger RV you’ll be limited for site selection but for RV’s under 20 Foot and/or tent camping there is a decent selection. Highly recommend a beach front site if you can get it.

The campsites are decently sized and low traffic, great location for any families I guess. The amenities are also convenient and decent. However the beach, outhouses and washrooms need better attending and cleaning. Gorgeous views from your campsite granted it is near the beach.

Small quiet campground, non-electric sites are more private, many sites with access to the beach. Beach is very rocky, and unfortunately we were there when smoke from far-off forest fires had blown into the area, making it very grey. The walking path through the marsh is nice and wide, a nice quick walk.
