This is an amazing campground/ RV Resort. It is huge inside with many sites. There are some sites that have issues with electricity but the campground staff protects people by informing them of the sites with the issues and places bags over the electrical boxes. Those sites are not open. The wide range of open sites include pull through and back in with full hook ups. I drove through three loops (a, b, and c) and loop c had 50 amp electrical hook ups. The pool was very clean. The office/laundry/recreational room was very clean. You could smell fresh laundry as you walk in. The beach was clean but has area of erosion. The landscaping in the campground is great. All the grass is cut and maintained. The playground was clean and greatly maintained. Overall, my family and I had a great experience here at Lynchburg RV Resort.

This is a pretty nice park with a small lake, a nice large pool and nice gravel walking trails. The gravel roads in the park are rough and it wouldn't hurt to fill the ruts and holes with gravel to smooth them out. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Honestly, I don’t understand the bad reviews! This place is amazing! Clean, the sites are big and leveled, they have great rules! Camping is not supposed to be perfect! You are supposed to do what you can with what you have! The amenities are great! I will definitely come back!

Place is nice but gate staff was rude and unwelcoming. Greeted yesterday afternoon with "what do you need". Proceeded to go downhill from there obviously because I wasn't in the mood for a bad attitude especially at a welcoming gate shack (it was Memorial day and I am sure that she was not excited about working.....I had to work as well and just got off to come visit family. It's just the way it is sometimes) I mentioned that I had a gate code to enter and was visiting family for an hour or so. She then proceeded to say that "I will have to write up the campers because they are not allowed to give out the code" I understand that policy needs to be followed and that I needed to be placed on a list as well as pay the $10 fee (which my wife already paid and I was unaware of until she in her impolite way informed me of how it works) but her approach was unacceptable. Just by the way, there is also a parking lot right near the shack where I could have just parked my car and walked or had somebody come and get me. There was no need for all of the bad attitude. If she would have at least greeted me with a "hello, how are you today?" with a simple smile, things would have gone completely differently. I was being treated like a child that was in trouble and was invading her campground. Her attitude was unacceptable. Be prepared for attitudes if you choose to camp here.
