Lynnville RV Park
Overview
Lynnville RV Park, also known as Lynnville Park, serves as a serene getaway located in the heart of Warrick County, Indiana. The park is distinguished by its history as a reclaimed mining area, which has been beautifully transformed into a massive 400-acre recreation site. It provides a rustic yet comfortable environment for RVers who want to escape the hustle of city life while enjoying the natural beauty of the Southern Indiana landscape.
Location & Surroundings
Conveniently located just a few miles north of Interstate 64, the park offers an easy detour for travelers crossing the Midwest. Despite its proximity to major transit routes, the park maintains a deep sense of seclusion and quiet. The surrounding terrain is characterized by lush greenery and the sparkling waters of Lynnville Lake, providing a scenic backdrop for every campsite and a refreshing atmosphere for those parked near the water’s edge.
Amenities & Park Features
The facility provides essential services for modern travelers, including full hookup sites that accommodate both 30-amp and 50-amp electrical needs. Many of the sites are designed as large pull-through pads, making it an accessible destination for those maneuvering significant motorhomes or fifth wheels. Visitors have access to clean restroom and shower facilities, a dump station, and multiple picnic shelters for community gatherings. The park also features several boat ramps and a dedicated fishing pier to ensure easy access to the water.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
The primary attraction is the lake itself, which is a haven for kayaking and fishing. Anglers frequently visit to catch bass, crappie, and catfish in the calm, electric-motor-only waters. Beyond the water, the park boasts an extensive network of nature trails perfect for morning walks, wildlife photography, or birdwatching. For those looking for a change of pace, the city of Evansville is a short drive away, offering urban amenities including the Mesker Park Zoo and various local historical museums.
Who This Park Is Best For
This destination is a perfect fit for outdoor lovers and travelers who prefer a quiet, natural setting over high-traffic commercial resorts. It is particularly excellent for fishing enthusiasts who want immediate access to the water from their base camp. Because of its spacious layout and easy highway access, it is also a top recommendation for big-rig travelers looking for a reliable and scenic stopover while passing through the region.

We went to check out the park and rent some kayaks for a couple hours. The young lady working the desk was super helpful. We hadn't been to the park in 20 years and they have really fixed it up since then! We had a great time and will be returning to camp soon.

Called to make reservations for a primitive camping spot and asked if it was an issue that I had a 12’ trailer with a side by side. Customer Service was very kind and they made recommendations. The camp site was great and I will be staying here again when I trail ride in Indiana. Thanks to the Staff for being so helpful.

Really nice place to camp, fish and canoe and/or kayak. The people are friendly and it is clean and well kept. If you go there? Please leave it cleaner than you found it. It's a beautiful place. I've been going there for 40 plus years. It has only gotten better.
