It was an amazing experience. There is cellular no service, but I sometimes used satellite. The satellite connection was alright.. more of a connect/disconnect kind of experience. The river at Castle Bridge is absolutely stunning. We swam there with the kids; it was freezing cold, but we didn’t mind. I only gave it 4 stars because my kids, our other family friends, and I weren’t able to use the toilet the odor was too strong. I even got a stomach ache right after I arrived and used it.

Very pretty location, nice sites, and sights. The Carbondale River runs right beside the campground with a nice set of ledges/short falls. I've never camped here but visit a couple times each year. For a stop, take some photos, stick your feet in the river, it's great. Warning: This is back country. Roads are gravel with washboard roads, steep hills.

Love this first come first serve campground! It is an explorers delight. Big trees and sites for privacy and shade. The outhouse is always terrible though

I think it is a little expensive at 23 Canadian dollars. If it had a water pump it would be better. You get A pit toilet, table, fire ring, and garbage bins. Beautiful Area!

Nice campground, most of the spots are big. It was very quiet when we were there , lots of traffic on the road but otherwise quiet. The toilets are pit toilets and there is no phone service , as is in the rest of the park. The fire pits are nice. Lots of trees, lots of shady spots, spots for tents, etc. Good hammock trees and many bird species to see.
