The municipal campground is in an okay location, a little loud on days off with the yard but the lots are large and it is very quiet after-hours. The lady I spoke with at public works was excellent. I enjoyed my stay.

It's a Campground in the middle of Mackenzie. You get what you get and what you get is a campground that does it's job. Nothing special but nothing wrong with it.

We arrived on a Sunday so options to pay were by cash or cheque in an envelope provided, online reservation or wait until Monday when the Municipal works yard office was open. We chose the latter because we weren’t sure how many days we’d need and despite the full hookup site we chose having a sign saying FCFS, when I looked at online payment, it showed some of the days as being reserved. We didn’t use the wifi or washrooms, so I have no comment there, but the grounds are good, descent sized sites and a great location. A free sani dump was well used by travellers while we were there. I would definitely recommend this campground while visiting Mackenzie.

Nice bathroom and showers. Clean campsites. Only thing that I would change is I would email the online people with the bathroom code so they can use the bathroom if they're checking in late. I had to ask somebody camping to get the password. Because I didn't come until 6:00.

Located right in the town of Mackenzie, you are situated close to all the amenities that the town has to offer. The campground provides newly renovated washrooms, that are quite pleasant. Each camp site has its own services which are very convenient. Camp sites clean, they supply firewood (when fire bans are not active) The lady who works for the campground is very respectable, friendly and really puts an emphasis on making sure you are taken care of. Downsides: no privacy between you and your neighbors. And there are stalls in the campground that are reversed in which your table and fire place is, so they are located on the back side of your camper (which was pretty weird.) Overall, great place to stay if your camping. Price was more than reasonable.

A great campground offering everything from just a picnic table all the way to full hook up service. The recently renovated bathroom and shower building was unexpected and a nice bonus to our stay. With its proximity to the town site, it was a great launching point to explore the lakes and mountains of the area.

Stayed at the Morfee Lake location (ball diamonds). Sites were well maintained and level. No services. Very quiet.
