Beautiful spot to camp and just relax away from it all. I never have luck fishing, but it seems to be a good fishing lake. Will be going back again!

Avery Lake is a gorgeous, secluded, spring-fed lake in northern lower peninsula Michigan. The lake itself boasts some islands and a canal to explore. Loons and bald eagles are easy to spot. The campground is a bit rustic, but keeps this beautiful area natural and accessible to those who don't own cabins on its north side. There are never many campers here, which is a shame, but it remains one of the area's best kept secrets.

Great campsites, boat launch and lake. The beach is limited. Fisherman reported good catches.

Beautiful place! This campground gives you the feel of camping in the forest. The sites are dispersed appropriately, giving you that in the woods feel. Everything is clean and taken care of, and there are out houses not far from many of the sites. There are trails, deep woods to adventure through and a really nice clean lake. If you come here during the fall months and wish to venture into the woods, be sure to make your presence known and wear bright clothes as many people do shoot in this area.
