The view is amazing! He had the pleasure to have a waterfront lot and it was just perfect. The subsets are to die for. We will definitely come back đ

Absolutely our favorite campground we stayed at on cape Breton! MacLoedâs beach was our favorite beach on the whole island (and we saw many). Sandy, clean, sheltered by dunes, gorgeous cliffs on either side. So breathtaking. The campground has a gorgeous view of the beach up on the hill. If you have an rv, highly recommend getting a site up top for the view. We played on the beach with our son and daughter all day long. Chris at the front desk was so great. Super friendly, he brought my son a surprise bag for his birthday bc they hadnât yet stocked ice cream for the season.

Absolute Gem (close to Inverness) of a campground with its own beach (unsupervised) the beach is a bit of a climb down and up but once youâre down there youâre good. Might find some seaglass down there as well. Will definitely be back. If youâre tenting some sites have some Epic Look offs. The roar of the oceans below and the skies above are extremely scenic. This appears to be a full service campground, with canteen, (ice, firewood, laundry, washrooms, potable water everywhere, rv grounds and shower facilities. Washrooms are somewhat maintained but could be cleaner (soap was not replaced regularly, seats need to be tightened, hot water is boiling hot (no joke will scald you so be careful , especially with kids) and we didnât see it but felt they could of used a kitchen (since we canât rinse our dishes off at the hose bibs) to was your dishes in. The main entrance off the street is a hairpin turn and easy to miss. Iâm not sure if this is ideal for RVâs but would be nice to have alternate or fixed up area to get down.

We stayed here 2 nights ago. Our site was tiny, miles from the one washroom and shower building (about 5 stalls and 3 showers for a massive campground of about 170 sites), had a firepit we had to drive over to park our car, and was rimmed by poison ivy with no warning signs. It was an exhorbitant $50 for this unserviced site. No wifi except at main office. The beach is lovely, and everything is spotless but for $50? No way would I recommend or stay there again. It was a case of "any old port in a storm" and they take advantage of that. The Pit toilets are disgusting.

Great beach. The upper campground is a bit busy for my liking, but the sites down by the beach are a bit larger and offer more privacy.

Huge RV and camping site. We tried to book last min calling in and we were not successful. So we decided to go in person and weâre able to get a nice spot close to the dandy beach. I hope to com back in the future to enjoy the beach.

management is UNACCEPTABLE. The owner threatened my friends and i and accused us of not paying. We were not here longer than 20 minutes before he ripped into our campsite trying to kick us out. After he demanded i show him our receipt he continued to be disrespectful and frankly, abusive. We got a refund and left as soon as we could. seriously do not go here there's so many nicer spots...

Located in a beautiful spot with a great beach, this campground is usually my go to. Tenting sites are mostly nice, but some have so many roots itâs hard to find a place to put a tent. Our site was a great size with flat ground, but had some garbage around from previous campers. This year the bathrooms were not cleaned often, the toilet paper ran out in most stalls and garbages were overflowing. No hand sanitizer in outhouses, which should be standard normally but especially during a pandemic. For the most expensive tenting spots around, the services are not what they should be. I hope to see some improvements next year.

Next to the skyline trail, this place has got to have some of the best views available. Little trail behind our site takes you up the cliffs. Saw whales in the morning breaching from up there! Amazing.

During our three week trip with RV in Nova Scotia this was one of the best campgrounds. We had site 86 with power, water and dumping and had a view on the ocean. Lots if free space to play. Quiet. Beautiful beach with little people and clear water is 200m away. If you can bring your own wood instead of paying 5 dollar for some sticks (like everywhere in NS). I met Mr MacLeod in person when I arrived and he was very friendly and open. There also is a playground for kids and a small shop.
