Very few people here. I pulled in on Sunday afternoon I was the only one here. Nobody monitoring the campground except for emptying the trash in the morning. There are a couple campgrounds down the road one with a lake view access. Toilets and running water only. Couple sites right on the river. I came back here for the privacy. Ruth lake just down the road a big huge beautiful lake despite the large burn last year. Caught a good size silver salmon. There's a day use area past the campgrounds and Marina to the right which you have access to the lake with shade and Sun for solar which is where I caught my fish awesome place. You have to kind of look for it or you might miss it like I did .

I camped here with a small group. We were the only campers around which was nice. There was easy river access, lots of poison oak around. The bathroom closest to our camp site was just awful. Others were fine but it was a little walk. If you want to get into the river bring water shoes because there are rocks. Great fun all around just the bathroom was a turn off.

This is a beautiful campground, however we were there 3 days before they closed for the season. After paying and setting up our campsite is when we found out the water had been turned off for the season. It was only posted one place and not very clearly.

First and only time I will ever go here. The lake itself was ok but the people around the area seemed to hate the fact that I was willing to come to their town and spend money. First I asked the local cashier of the bait shop what the fish were doing, what they were biting on, and what type of fish are in the lake. She had no advice other than we were fishing in the wrong time of day because it was the afternoon an outright had an attitude with us because we ask too many questions I can only assume. Also, I got yelled at by one of the workers at the camp ground for apparently driving too fast through the camp. In all honesty and for fairness I was driving too fast but so was every other car and her exact words "slow the f*** down a******" are not exactly customer friendly or professional. Other than that great deer hunting in the area

Quiet and perfect. Me and the wife enjoyed our first anniversary here.
