Campground is in a convenient location off the freeway. This was a stop over site for us. We dont expect to much from KOA Journeys. It had what we needed a site and full hookup. It is a nice spot with alot of sites and amenities. Looks to have more long term people here.

Overall the park is nice and clean. Bathrooms are clean. Staff are nice. The issue is the primitive tent campsites. They do say it’s uphill, however, TWD cannot make it up the hill. The rocks are unstable making it hard to carry items up and down. If you are disabled or have bad hips/knees, it’s a fall waiting to happen. My abled body family almost fell several times. We all slept in our SUV at the bottom of the hill because I couldn’t make it up. I recommend booking the tent site with electric! Again, great KOA. I would stay here again but I would not book primitive camping like we normally do at all other KOAs!

Nice peaceful camping experience close to home , cabins were clean, and the AC worked amazing even at the hottest point in the summer. My children had a blast swimming, playing in the foam pit and fishing. Would recommend for a quiet peaceful stress free family get away.

This campground was a terrible experience. It’s really a long term trailer park. We were sandwiched between a camper with barking dogs that were locked in the camper for hours and another camper with tons of feral kids (I have small kids and even I was annoyed). They also had cats that were all over our campsite trying to get in to our camper. The pool hours are 10a-8p which weren’t posted anywhere but we asked. At 1030 the pool was locked up. We called and waited for them to unlock it. This is just a poorly run, unpleasant space to spend a night. Couldn’t wait to pack up.

This was my first KOA experience and it was EXCELLENT! fantastic amenities. Very clean and everything seemed very fresh and updated. Pool was great and super clean. Staff was very helpful and addressed our needs promptly and professionally. We rented 4 cabins for a family reunion weekend and we were all pleased with the experience. I was particularly impressed with the bathroom/shower house. Very clean and plenty of hot showers. We hope to all go again next year.
