Great little campground with excellent communication from owner accommodating dates and adding a couple of days to our adventures. Cleanest bath and laundry areas we have ever had while camping. Little things like motion sensing lights coming on as soon as you step on sidewalk made our stay even better.

We booked a site at Madison Valley Campground less than 12 hours in advance and couldn’t have been happier. The process was smooth and hassle-free, and we ended up with a quiet, cozy, and intimate spot. Everything was simple—no fuss checking in or out. A perfect, peaceful stay.

While the location was great, there were a couple of issues during our stay. The shower I used didn’t drain well and there was about 1/4” of water on a very slippery tiled floor which felt unsafe to me. Also, twice we opened our door at 8:00 am and couldn’t step out because of the sprinklers. Not knowing they were going to come on, our chairs were too wet to sit on. Otherwise it was fine. It was a very short walk into town to shop or go to a restaurant.

We came all the way from Canada and stayed here because it had fairly easy access to Yellowstone and it turned out to be real gem of a town. The campground is clean, well kept and quiet. The showers/bathrooms are very nice for a RV park and the laundry was an added bonus. We also enjoyed the short walk to the downtown shops and amenities. My only recommendation is our wooden picnic table was in poor condition and the sprinklers that go off nightly/early morning soak the wood so it’s wet most of the day and so you can’t sit on it. Some of the sites had plastic picnic tables and would be much better to dry off and use. Would recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay.

Spacious spots, nice grass area w/picnic table. Easy in & out. Great communication. Quiet & peaceful. Laundry clean & priced great. The only negative was the sprinklers going at 7:15 am & spraying the RV. Made it challenging to get pups out for morning potty. Maybe have them run at night or a little earlier. Would definitely stay again.
