Good location. The drink machine card reader didn't work. Be cautious if going on the trails on warmer days because of venomous snakes. I've spotted rattlesnakes, copperheads but mostly cottonmouths over the years. No aquarium anymore, but nice picnic areas with grills. There's a playground for the kids and a splash pad as well. The park is clean, let's keep it that way. There's plenty of trashcans. The covered picnic areas have running water and electricity.

Absolutely love this park! Peaceful & quiet! Only downside is no wifi and cell service is almost nonexistent. Even tho I enjoy not listening to a phone ring, but for emergency purposes if family had an emergency. It won't deter us from coming back tho! Thank you for your great hospitality & use of your beautiful park!

I grew up coming here. The kids love the splash pad during the summer months, and they're always hosting events. I've never had the pleasure of staying in one of their cabins, but I've heard great things about them!

We camped in September 2025, site 16 and had a wonderful time. Campground is beautiful!. Quiet, clean and well maintained. The hosts were kind and friendly. The restrooms / showers were the cleanest we have ever had camping. Checkin was friendly, smooth and painless. The spring area was nice, lots of turtles and fish to see. You can rent paddle boats, kayaks and canoes. There are several trails to hike as well as playgrounds and splash pad. Cabins look new and beautiful as well. The museum has a lot of information, more history than we realized in this area of Georgia. Will definitely be returning again.

A good state park not far from Millen Ga so if one needs a hotel or supplies its not far. Park was clean spacious & has a nice lake! The kids seem to enjoy the playground near the lake. Was only there a couple hours & for a kid's birthday party so didn't get to explore much but saw one walking trail that said it was either a 1.2 or 1.5 mile loop which might be nice to walk. Regardless the location was beautiful, the picnic table area has shelters spread far enough apart that one doesn't feel crowded or that others are in your business.
