A great place to get away for peace and quiet. Hot showers and clean bathrooms. Reasonable price that includes electric at all sites. Water available except when it starts getting cold.

Campsites are large and private. The park has great hikes and it’s an easy campground to navigate. We have a big rig and do not have any issues. Great roads and brand new dump station.

A very peaceful beautiful camping area generous sites, electric and water hook ups (water needs extra hose length) staff are friendly, helpful, smiles. Bathrooms could be upgraded but they worked. Trail system is vast and amazing. Well marked. A favorite stop along the journey

We absolutely love the location. I have family in the area and we love camping. Perfect! Clean facilities, campgrounds are clean and swept up, the fire pit cleaned as well. Since we can’t do fire right now, we have hot packs for bed warning. Tent is toasty and warm on ground or if bad weather comes, we go into the Lean to off ground. We had our small, old lady dog and she loved it! We had kept her on leash due to the coyotes. Be careful as usual when it comes to the wildlife, they were there first. Do make sure you know what hunting is happening and what kind of hunting. They keep guests informed on any restrictions or what weaponry is acceptable for NJ Parks and recreation also fire risk levels. We won’t be cooking on the fire but that is what propane works well for. Excellent campground and staff! Recommend highly! Thank you!

Beautiful landscape. Good place for hiking or biking. You can see Lake Hopatcong from one of the highest points on the trail. For the adventurous among us, there was a loud animal sound coming from the woods one night near one of the camp sights. Probably a bear or coyote. But who knows?

Very nice for a "in the middle of the woods" campground. Roads and sites are paved - 😊 No sewer hookups - 😢. There could be quite a reach for the water, but they have hose extensions if you need them. There is a huge communal green area if you want sun or for kids to play ball during the day and for a campfire at night (no fires allowed at site). Restrooms are modern, clean and we'll provisioned, but watch out for spiders (in the middle of woods). Bring mosquito repellent (ditto about the woods)!

Nice campground with quiet, level sites. Wooded views and nice scenery. Easy access and good roads leading in and out. Not far from restaurants and shopping as well.

I only stopped by to use the dump station, but the park was easy to locate using gps & the dump station was quick & convenient. It cost $20 to dump & payment was made using the envelopes supplied at the front entrance office. The park looked clean, quite & very welcoming, I wouldn't mind staying there sometime in the future.

Clean, quiet, and off the beaten path. Secluded sites, priced right! No more need to bring 300' of fresh water hose. Parking pads larger than before. A little slice of heaven in NJ. I'll be back.
