Good luck getting a reservation. It's a popular park. The staff is friendly, the location is good, if you can get a spot away from the road. Easy access to trails. Showers a bit messy. The price is a little on the high side, but it's a resort town.

Beware. They are the only game in town and they know it. I had a reservation made 6 months in advance. I drove 2 days get get there. Upon arrival. No staff at work, a little senior lady volunteer with dementia trying to text the office staff who were on jury duty. After waiting over an hour to hear back for check in we left. No help, they don't pick up the phone ever, they aren't at the office. No refunds or credits even when it's their fault. We will not be back.

Been coming here for years and have noticed the decline of the park! Campsites are not kept up and have slowly become unlevel! The bathrooms are not very clean. Dumpsters are not regularly dumped and get over filled to the point of not being able to close them, then bears get into them and make a mess! Yet every year the price for campsites keep going up!

For $80/night, this is your view. This is really just a giant parking lot with hookups. You are sandwiched next to your neighbors on asphalt with a striped line separating your campsites. There is more asphalt here than nature. Some areas of the park are more natural and outdoorsy â not sure how much they pay per night.

We booked a campsite for one week in July, site #63. We booked it because it advertised it had a heated pool. IF it is heated it isn't above 72° at best. WAY too cold for an indoor pool. Very disappointing. The hot tub was maybe 99 to 100. The bathrooms were not clean or stocked.properly. Trash was full, paper towels dispensers were empty. Shower floors were dirty. The site hookups are on the passenger side which required us to use an extension to reach them. Thank goodness we had one. The office closes at 5:00 and on Tuesday it was closed the entire day. When we checked in on Monday we were told.there is no camp store. They only carry a few rv supplies. Those supplies are located in the office so when they are closed you have to go into town. Between the regular noise from the nearby road and the super loud racket coming from.the hospital construction next door it is extremely noisy. When the construction is over and if staff actually provided the proper services this could be a nice campground. But for what they charge I expect better. At least heat the pool!

We haven't been here for awhile.....indoor pool is plus except they don't heat the pool during winter since covid. They make kids use the spa with adults for warm water...they say use the pool for cold plunge. Showers ( you have push button every 15 secs to get water)and bathroom are dirty and unkept, wifi is spotty at best. Dump and fresh water not working. It's too bad place this place use to be top notch

Went in my van. Entire park is on a slope, I didn't have any way to level my van so sleeping was impossible. Make sure you have a way to level your vehicle if you plan to sleep in it. Also, during my brief stay, the water was turned off and the entire park was expected to share a single spigot. The pool was closed as was the hot tub. Not the great experience so many seem to have had.

Lovely staff but the set up is pretty poor. Camping spot was basically like being in a tarmaced parking lot with electric hook up for $140/night! Sites are super close together and thereâs no benches, bbq area, fire pit or anything. Did not find it good value for money at all.

We stayed at Mammoth Mountain RV Park during a winter storm, and it was a lifesaver! The night before, we were boondocking near June Lake when one of our tire chains broke, leaving us stuck in deep snow. My husband spent half the day digging us out with a mini shovel before a kind plow truck driver came to our rescue. After finally making it to the Shell station at the 158 and 395 intersection, we found out the highway was closed and ended up waiting for several hours. Desperate for a safe place to stay, we called MMRV. Over the phone, my husband misheard and thought they had availability that night, so once the roads reopened around 6 PM, we made the treacherous 1.5-hour drive through a full-on blizzard to get there. Upon arrival, we left a message, and Elizabeth texted back asking if we had a reservationâwhich we didnât. Unfortunately, she clarified that they were actually booked for the night but had availability the following day. My husband explained our situation, emphasizing that we had a baby in the car and couldnât risk driving further in the dark. Elizabeth responded, âLet me see what I can doâŚâ and next thing we knew, Jaime was out there plowing a spot just for us. Not only did Jaime clear a space for us, but when he saw my husband struggling to shovel out our car with a tiny shovel, he kindly offered his larger shovel to help! It was such a small but incredibly thoughtful gesture that made a huge difference. Originally, we planned to stay just one night, but we extended to two because of how well-maintained and convenient the campground was. The location is perfect, and the amenities are greatâhot showers, clean bathrooms, free drinking water, an indoor pool and jacuzzi (which we didnât use), and laundry facilities ($2.50-$3 per wash and dry, with soap, bleach, and dryer sheets available for purchase). The only minor issue was that our electricity hookup wasnât working, but it wasnât a problem since our teardrop trailer has solar power. Overall, we loved our stay at MMRV and canât recommend it enoughâespecially for winter travelers. Huge thanks to Elizabeth and Jaime for their kindness and hospitality!

Easy checkin and checkout. Bathrooms / showers are summer camp style. Bathrooms were warm and adequate. Could have been a little cleaner, but we got into camp late, so maybe that was part of it. Just passed through for a night and a shower. It worked for us

It is literally the Only rv park in mammoth lakes. It's really a beautiful setting with super friendly staff. We Love the bike path right in front of the park. Indoor pool and hot tub really gives it a resort feeling

We are Van dweller/climbers. Absolutely loved their showers facility. Reasonable and emaculant! Exactly what I needed after a few days in the Gorge climbing. THANK YOU Mammoth Mountain RV park.

Nice people, but real bummer they nearly doubled their price this year. The value just isn't there. We were all set to make reservations but decided to boondock instead.

Met expectations, plowed, amenities clean and easy to access. COVID policy closed spa and pool but understandable. Definitely will give it another try, hopefully this summer.

Really the worst campsite Why ? I don't understand why the reviews are so high. If it snows heavily here, the campsite does not clear the snow. They never clear the snow so they can leave to keep guests longer. Conversely, when a seat becomes vacant, it is removed to receive guests. Customers must be accepted, and those who are about to leave do not take their seats. the owner says After waiting for hours, the customer asks to clear the snow with a shovel and leave. And over time, they charge you. We couldn't clear so much snow that we escaped by pushing the snow by car for an hour. It's amazing that there are still places like this in the world. The price is $90 per day. This is a site with no firering , nothing to do. Book this camp site for a new experience. price is đĄ
