Pretty average but clean state park. The sites were tidy and the typical pit toilets found in parks werw surprisingly clean and had plenty of toilet paper. The camping area is close but just up the road (.2miles) from the day use site which was nice, it was so quiet but in a great location. Fresh water was close by all spots and for half the price of the KOA nearby we appreciated the option. It was super quiet and the road was so dead I had a really nice run while my family was sleeping. Only saw 1 car on the 101 while running. Will definitely stay again. Great for my whole family.

Beautiful, relaxing, first come - first served camping. Potable water and pit toilets dotted around the campground. No hookups.

Great nature hikes. Beautiful scenery of the river meeting the ocean. Close to shopping and dinning areas that are quaint and very friendly.

Great park for camping or a day trip. Multiple walking trails, beach access and some history all together! Campsite are almost all nicely spaced. We have enjoyed our multiple visits.

What a beautiful park with military significance. The views were beautiful with water access for kayaks and other water boards.

Manchester State Park is nestled on Kitsap Peninsula just a ferry ride away from Seattle but you would never know it There are hiking trails through green lush forest full of history dating back to WWI.

I found this location to be more of a day outing for friends and/or family. There are a few group shelters with the main building -a historic torpedo warehouse- also as a covered area to hold an event. There are hiking trails here as well.

Beautiful scenic views everywhere you look. Old unused navy Fort, Amazing sea life cool old buildings. forest trails? Yes! Beach walking? Yes! A trail by the beach? Yes! All the best. Cool sea life and all kinds of boats. Mucky beach so bring your muck boots! Spooky old fort stairs area. A smelly smell? Sometimes! Very cool park. Always enjoy it every time we go high or low tide, rain or shine. We saw shrimp in the tide pool and something slimy under a rock this time but we see something new every time we go

Great beach. Huge wide open space, tons of driftwood. Great views, especially looking south at the Point Arena light house.

My partner and I spent 3 relaxing days at the KOA right next to Manchester Beach. Theres about 5 miles of beach to walk and tons of driftwood on the beach. Beautiful location. The weather was perfect. Truly a hidden gem.

Loved how friendly and welcoming the camp hosts were when I interacted with them. The grounds were quiet and well kept. Easy to read the map and find hiking trails. Super experience!

Fun place to go. First come first serve camping so that can be hit or miss. Plenty of fresh water, Clean pit toilets. Firewood available. Campsites are clean and large. Only drawback is no dog's on beach due to Snowy Plover

This first-come campground is a great place to set up camp on a trip exploring the California coast. It is well maintained and spacious. A short walk gets you to the beach and you will probably see a variety of wildlife. $35 a night was a little surprise considering Castle Crags has showers and was only $25 but I suppose location is everything there.
