Very seldom do I write reviews, but after such a great experience I felt it was time. My husband and I have been trying to get into this campground for the longest time and they were always booked up when we were hoping to go. That was a good sign in our opinion as it meant that they must be very popular. After our visit we now know why. The lovely Cindy was able to get us in after a cancellation and it worked out perfectly for our time frame and meant we would be there in time to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. The staff here are all so friendly and helpful. The campground itself is immaculately clean and well maintained. We were fortunate enough to get a site right on Lake Michigan. Simply beautiful! Being lulled to sleep each night by the sound of the waves on shore .. blissful! We will definitely be going back again.

Fantastic campground! Staff works tirelessly to keep the area clean, both indoors and outside. Our beach side campsite was phenomenal. My only complaint has to do with the other rude campers. Our neighbor had all of their outside camper lights on (and they were BRIGHT!). The first night I asked them to shut them off a little after 9pm and the night after I never saw them outside so they shut them off well after 10pm. With migrating birds this time of year and people trying to enjoy the stars, it just seems ridiculous people with campers would light up their pad as well as their neighbor's with unnecessary lights. Consideration for others would go a long way.... the campground though, 10/10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

One of the best RV sites we have stayed at. The best views of Lake Michigan, and easy access to the beach/lake. Super clean grounds, bathrooms and showers. Colleen was awesome at check-in and so helpful with suggestions on nearby restaurants and things to do in the area. Loved the concrete slab for our RV and nice fire ring and picnic table. Highly recommend!

The people in the office were very friendly for our stay. The campground looks a lot nicer compared to pictures online, and the restrooms were clean! They have lights to light up the campsites and walkways, and you are not too far from Lake Michigan. They have board walks near the campground as well as places to go out to eat near by. Would highly recommend going to and I would definitely go here again!

I rarely ever leave reviews on Google but I just have to say how much we've LOVED this campground. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon. This place is absolutely gorgeous and all the staff are so nice. It's great being on Lake Michigan. Campground is beautiful and peaceful. We will for sure be back and recommend this campground to everyone. I've grown up camping and this is for sure one of my favorites. Dog friendly, lots of nearby places to get souvenirs, drinks, and food. The showers are clean, great water pressure and temp! Campground is very clean and well kept as well. If you are debating between a couple places- pick this one. You won't regret it!

Have to book early for lakefront but any lot is a winner here. Hot and clean showers. Gorgeous lake views and lighthouse w/jetty makes for awesome morning walks. Dog friendly! WIFI🤙🏻

The sites are well-maintained and large. There's a good amount of foliage between the campsites that makes it feel more like a state park. We've been there three times and the next time we would like to get a spot right on the lake. Very nice campground what's super friendly staff!!!!!

beautiful (and typical) campground on lake michigan! the bathrooms were phenomenal! if you are tent camping there are no beachfront tent sites. I would recommend trying to book campsite p6, as it is not sitting right in front of the parking for the office, and is removed from the other tent sites with its own private parking area.

Campground location is wonderful-right on the shores of Lake Michigan. Sites were very clean and fairly private with trees blocking the view of other sites. Laundry facilities on site. The campground was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again!

I wanted to sleep on the break wall but my mom wouldn't let me. I don't care about gettin wet i love the water and cement. We are not on talking terms now. But i saw a pretty tree.

We stayed 10 days, very nice campground. My husband had no problems backing our 36 ft fifth wheel in. They have a little laundry room which was great didn’t have to go to laundromat. Cannot wait to come here next year!

We stayed in site 25 and loved it. Great spot for people and dog watching. Right across a trail to the beach, and we could see the lake from the site. I highly recommend staying on the half of the campground closer to the water. So either along the water, or just on the other side of the road on the "front" half of the long strip through the middle of the property. When we walked around the property, there was NO BREEZE on the back half, either due to trees or campers on the front half blocking it. Even in the shade it was hot until you got around the loop to the front side. Well maintained sites. We did not go in the bath house but the outside looked nice. We were able to walk along the beach every morning. The fire pits have a cooking grate that swings over which is so handy!

We are in the second row from the water. The sites are wide and long and level. Trees strategically placed for privacy. Hubby used the facilities and says they're super nice and clean. There is a path to a small sandy/Rocky combo Beach on lake Michigan. Wonderful place!
