The temporary campground is behind of the parking lot, we spent few hours in the hotel lobby, gift shop, enjoy the sunset, even though it’s super cloudy!

I camped at many glacier campground in Glacier N.P. for 5 nights. It was great that many hiking trails are available. But to get to West Side of N.P., it takes 50mins+ drive. At the nearest lake from this C.G., deer or mooses are visiting almost every day, so you may want to stop by to quietly watch.

I almost gave this 4 stars, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. The only critique is how crowded and close quarters the campground is, but other than that, this place is perfect. In some ways, it’s TOO nice haha. The bathrooms were pristine and there was fresh water, both of which we didn’t expect. We don’t need much after a long day of hiking, so to come back to a beautiful site is all we need. It’s right by various trail heads which made exploring a breeze. We saw 4 moose right next to the campsite and we saw goats every night on the hill.

My heart is bursting with joy as I reflect on the epic adventure I recently experienced in Glacier National Park and our stay at Many Glacier Campground. We hiked to Iceberg Lake, paddle boarded all over the local lakes and creeks. We had coffee with moose, celebrated happy hour watching grizzlies (from a safe distance) and a couple of black bears made an appearance. Pretty epic! Practice bear safety and put food away and always carry bear spray.

This is a huge campground ⛺️. From what I’ve seen it’s quite popular, but that doesn’t interfere with your experience as the space is huge and there are a lot of trees, so it feels quiet. The lakes around it provide you for a nice wildlife sporting experience. Lots of trails around would keep you busy for days. I recommend this campground. P.S. no showers, but the toilets are clean and look brand new (women’s).

Amazing campground with gorgeous mountains views and close to many glacier trailhead. We only spent a night here and can’t wait to come back to do a whole week stay!

Heaven on earth !!! Campground is clean and located at just about perfect spot, host was very friendly and suggested few motorcycle riding routes to me along with hiking suggestions. I was little late and probably made a little noises while setting up my tent but neighbors were polite except 1 person ( they follow me 😃 ) Walking distance to restaurant and hiking trails made it ideal setup for my trip on motorcycle, i wish i could stay few more days. Please remember currently this campground is online only.

Very popular campground located near some of the best hiking in the park. No reservations accepted so arrive early in the day to try and obtain a site as someone is leaving. The 12 mile road into this area of the park is paved but in bad conditions. Five sections have been washed out. It is passable but you need to slow down. There are approximately 25 sites that will take trailers up to 32' or RVs up to 38'. Almost all of the sites are pull through but the short radius makes many difficult to place a towable RV. Beautiful setting as you are surrounded by mountains and lakes. Water is available at the dump station. Generators are allowed 8 AM to 8 PM. Bring all needed supplies since it is over 50 miles to a grocery store or laundry in Browning, MT. No cell phone service - AT&T is only available in Browning, Verizon available at St. Marys. There are pay showers ($2.50 for 8 minutes) available at the Swiftwater Motor Lodge. Limited groceries, supplies, and food available at the Lodge. Two restaurants nearby but expensive. Hiking in the area is wonderful with much wildlife to see. We viewed mountain goats, big horn sheep, and a bull moose while hiking. This campground with no hookups in a remote area is not for everyone but is beautiful! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
